First of all, thanks for providing a map screenie for your file. It made it easier to recognize your scenario now that I've returned to post comment.

I am an amateur at this sim and the lack of appealing scenarios does not help the fact. I do love me some NATO vs WP hypotheticals and your scen. title caught my eye (thank you for not using corny "Operation xxxx" names). Kudos to the original creator(s) too.

I like the map layout. It didn't confuse me with overdone overlays. It readily conveys enemy avenues of approach and the enemy's bridge objective (AFAICT). I also like the terrain since it makes the enemy's approach predictable making things that much easier for me to score kills.

I think this scenario represents the ideal size of forces. A proper 3 to 1 ratio of WP vs NATO units. There are plenty of Russians to shoot at and there are just enough German units to command. I did not feel overwhelmed by this scenario (and if I do it's because my skills suck).

The most fun I had with this scenario is when the Russians had broken through my main defenses and had their rears exposed. I found a Leopard1 and managed some magnificent, very tactical kills.

This scenario is rightly placed under the 'difficult' section. I've yet to successfully fend off the Russians and capitalize on a well defended primary defensive line. What sucks is the German tanks are well inside the tree line and it's so hard to track the advancing enemy tanks w/o exposing my own tank. It's frustrating how few tanks I manage to kill in the valleys because I only manage to catch glimpses of them through the trees and branches. I defnitely need to improve my gunnery in this regard.

I like how the Germans automatically retreat. I don't have to worry about activating triggers (at least none that I know of).

There are plenty of T72s and T80s to shoot at but I don't think enough BMPs and troops, but I'm no expert on tables of organization.

If this scen had M1s (my preferred mode of transport) I would enjoy it that much more because I'm not very familiar with the Leopards.

Again, I've yet to win this scenario but I'm still having lots of fun with it.
