    In this mission you lead a tank company (+) as a part of Mech Task Forces attack against enemy mech battalion that has halted for resupplying. You command a tank co with an mech inf plt attached to it and engineer support. The enemy has multiple different kinds of lines of defence and has also strong reserves for counter-attacks against your troops. The scenario comes with 2 different settings: -Attack as US forces in clear weather during summer or -Attack as Finnish forces in autumn and limited visibility. Enjoy!   7. North German Plain 85 - Hameln 1 (2.640)

    Version 1.1: updated to new version of Manteuffel's map for 2.640 + scripted Blue side a bit more, so that scenario is playable from the Red side in SP + changed some T-72B to T-72M1 ... JC (from the very interesting Real & Simulated Wars-blog) had the idea to replicate a phase from the grand-tactical/operational war game North German Plain 85 in SB.

    I helped him a bit with creating the Red side of the battle.
    Up to you now to command the Blue side ...

  15. Hitting Where it Hurts

    In this scenario you'll lead a CV Company or a Leopard 2A4 company in attack against a Motor Rifle Battalion's (or even Brigade's) flank guard unit (platoon-company in size). The attack itself is pretty straight-forward with you commanding you unit according to your plan and the situation. The enemy is heavily randomized. It has 4 major "plans" that activate randomly at the beginning of the mission. Each plan has multiple variations in it, so you shouldn't run into same situations time after time.

    A Canadian Recce Troop doing a route recce to secure a bridge. This scenario is designed to be played from the crew commander's view as much as possible, especially when adopting positions of observation and when directing artillery. Minimal use is to be made of the map, and calling artillery off the map (especially full Fire For Effect) is definately Bad Form. The name of the game here is Sneak and Peek. Done correctly, it is possible to neutralize all the enemy positions and capture the bridge at NAI 0001 without losing a single vehicle or firing a single direct-fire shot. While the entire troop is provided for completeness (and for multi-player co-operative play) this is one of the few scenarios where it is acceptable to "lone wolf" - divide one of the 2-car patrols into 2 separate vehicles, hop into the crew commander's hole, and get moving! (This simulates being in the lead callsign of a troop moving by catapiller movement, more or less) It is more important to skillfully manouvre individual vehicles rather than try and micromanage the entire troop.   25. Autobahnwars Part2: Linkup at junction B40/A7

    Link up and Support (rescue) a small isolated airmobile unit at the Autobahn junction "Dreieck-Fulda" (B40/A7) close to the industrial area of WELKERS.

    A linkup is a meeting of friendly ground forces. One or both forces may be moving. The forces are normally separated by the enemy. Cavalry can participate in a linkup as part of a larger force or as one of the forces involved. Linkup can occur in the following situations:

    - When an advancing force reaches an objective that has been previously seized by an airborne or air assault force.....;-)

    - When an encircled element breaks out to rejoin friendly forces.

    - When converging friendly forces meet.
