M1 Cold War Pack version 1.1
A collection of numerous base and MERDC patterns for the M1. There are numerous enhancements of the original M1 skins to include engine deck work, vision blocks, barrel, gear and many other details. There are 9 versions of the M1 included, that the represent the M1’s of the early and mid 80’s. The MERDC patterns and base colors have been extensively researched and color matched within the limitations of PSP. Up until December 1984 Leopard 2’s were painted in a gelb-olive (RAL 6014). Here you have examples in woodland and in a winter wash. There has been some glass work, but the most notable addition is new road wheels.

Simply remove the _woodland from the file extension and place in the woodland texture, or mods/woodland folder.

T-72B 3 Color Camo v1.0
This is the T-72B, which began production in 1985. In the late 80's the Soviets adopted a 3 color camo, similiar to MERDC camo. Production T-72B's were painted in an overall Soviet olive drab No 2, with swaths of light sand and blotches of black. This unit carries the 2nd Guards Tamanskaya MRR insignia, from a plate in the T-72 Main Battle Tank 1974-1993 New Vanguard book. In the book the 3 color looks very brown and drab but I have included a more traditional dark green camo version also.

Three versions of the T-55 are included, all with new decals. Numerous details have been added, such as new glass for sights and vision blocks, entirely new running gear, driver hatch, re-colored ammo boxes, 12.7mm rounds and other finer details. Soviet units were known to make field modified camouflage usually using an application of sand or gray over the traditional dark green base.
WARNING-the decals are on the skins so the t55decals.dds will have to be replaced with the TIS folder's t55decals.dds. For ease the (TIS) t55decals.dds file is included in the pack.371 downloads

M1 MERDC v2.640 by dpabrams
This version of the M1 is done in the MERDC patterns of the 1970's and 80's. Four MERDC schemes are included for the woodland, autumn, winter and desert folders. Most of the texture of the original skin has been detailed, modified or redrawn. Nearly all the original hardware has been detailed and replaced such as hinges, nuts, bolts, grates, handles and caps. The wheels have been rebuilt to include all new nuts and hubs. A barrel reference system has been built, cable crew step added and a new gun mantlet built. The engine deck has been rebuilt, mostly from scratch to reflect that of an actual M1A0. Fenders have been corrected and small texture defects fixed. The welds were redone for the entire skin and new cable covers built for the turret. All stowage items have been done and are included as well as T156 tracks. Stowage items are in woodland camo and desert camo for the appropriate theme.357 downloads

This version of the M1 hails from the 3rd Mech, 1/64 Armor circa 1985 in West Germany. Three schemes are included, original forest green for the woodland theme, desert tan for desert theme and a field applied winter camo.

The wheels have been rebuilt to include all new nuts and hubs. A barrel reference system has been built, cable crew step added and a new gun mantlet built.
