  1. A close friend (who served in Iraq) told me, that the US troops in Iraq learnd that if a camera is around and its not with a bunch of US soldiers (e.g. press) its most likely that an IED will go off soon or that a sniper will try to kill a soldier. The insurgents always try t catch there acts on tape for propaganda reasons. He told me, that this lead to the habit of shooting at those guys, which - according to him - decreased the number of attacks. I guess the Isralis leard the same thing. Which may explain how this happend.....
  2. What is that in first 11sec of the vid? Is the tank lunching some sort of anti-laser smoke or is that some sort of frag-nades aginst to close personal? :confused::confused::confused:
  3. :biggrin: Thank you :biggrin:
  4. Arrived today! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
  5. @rump. Your post made my head dizzy. A lot of "said" in there. This my sound silly but is this a joke i dont understand? :confused::confused::confused::confused:
  6. such a f*cking a**hole. I hope he stumbels into a dark ally full of mean, hungry junkjard dogs.
  7. Mh. I used the word "propagda" in the meaning of a movie made from the germans for entertaining like the kind of movies made in hollywood during WWII (those with John Wayne, Charly Chaplin & co. e.g. The Fighting 69th“ (1940) or „Sergeant York“ (1941),). To show the people at home "how its done" and to keep up the moral. I think that the english comment was added after WWII. If u listen to the voices in the movie there is no german comments. Only the tank (Pz) crew talking.
  8. Looks like a part from a old (sometime 1941 i guess) german "propaganda" movie with some comments added.
  9. Looks great. I hope this mod is ready for download as soon as my copy arrives :biggrin:. My i ask how do u do this modding? What programs do u use? Is there some sort of modding - instructions for download? Sven
  10. Played the Alpha-Demo a few days ago. On my system it runs better then the Steel Fury - Demo, but its not that much fun. The AI is strange. The enemy sometimes total ignord me. Even as i started to "pepper" there butts. Best thing about it is that u can tweak a config so u can use the Tiger-Tank (uses the T34 sights tho).
  11. Thanks a lot for ure answeres. Makes some stuff easyer to understand
  12. Ordered my copy today :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: JIPPI
  13. Hello! Can anyone please tell me whats difference between a fire in a tank and a catastrophic fire? Whats a M Kill (read that at TankNet)? Is there some sort of Tank Lingo Wiki? Thx
  14. Reading all this reports i was wondering if all vehicles in SB Pro PE have a detailed damage models or "weak spots". Is it like in other games (WWII-Online, T72 balkans on fire, T34vsTiger) that crewmembers can be killed or that the engine is damaged and stalls ? And is this simulated for both "sides"? (Watching all the SB vids on youtube u only see confirmd "kills". So i had to ask here)
  15. :biggrin: ROFL :biggrin: As soon as u bought one, leave me a PM, i will come to ure place for a ride :luxhello::clap: There a few places in germany were u can do some Tankdriving as e.g. a birthday gift ->Tanks for rent Germany[ This one offers driving a T72 (FAP) (u must hit the button "Preise"). (The Tank markt with "Mein Panzer" is on sale: only 33900€)
