  1. I think this is something that Apache air crews train or at least very familiar with. I know from an incident very similar in 2007, South of Ramadi Iraqi. An Apache crew evacuated one of our Soldiers from the Battle of Donkey Island. The air crew put him in the helicopter and the other while one of the two pilots strapped themselves to the wing in the same manner as the Royal Marines. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/08/18/AR2007081801270_4.html?hpid=topnews Jamaledine was later evacuated by an Apache helicopter, one of whose pilots, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Allen Crist, gave his seat to Jamaledine and rode strapped to the aircraft's exterior. Meanwhile, Lauer, out of his Humvee, had been shot in the shoulder and was pinned down in a ditch.

    M1A2 Woodland

    awesome job, they look great.:gun:
  4. I Agree, it is a hit in the bustle, ammo blow off panels worked like they are suppose too.
  5. the GPS Reticle on the M1A2 ismissing the elevation lines on the reticle. is this a bug or something i did not remove prior to installation?
  6. Has anyone else had this issue with 3.11?
  7. I do not see any major additional time in pulling a diesel power pack compared to the tribune. It will be interesting to see how they run the hydraulic pump and system.
  8. Good information. Even though I loved the turbine, I do think it is high time for the Abrams to have a diesel. It was such a jump in technology going from M60s to the M1 series. The reality of economics with the Army having a very limited budget for the foreseeable future absolutely makes sense that the Abrams will be with US Forces for a very long time.
  9. I have to look. I just may have the firing tables. I want to say the M900 had a EFC of 3. I think it is very safe to say that we were at the absolute end of the spectrum in the early 90s with the M68, 105mm gun.
