For the benefit of those googleing the error message later I would like to reaffirm that this is solved by reinstalling Steel Beasts, in my case 2.654. It did not require reinstalling directx, codemeter support or uninstalling anything first. Simply install SB over itself again, problem solved. Not that it makes sense but that is what it was for me.

Is this available on US cable TV?

Since I'm re-activating my joystick anyway for 2.6, why not fly a bit? In the past I stayed away from those LockOn and Black Shark products because of the intrusive copy protection they had on CDs but that problem doesn't apply in Steam. Anybody playing them? Did they polish them to an enjoyable state? Any other flying recommendations?

About to upgrade my 2.5x to 2.6x. Is the printed manual updated? Worth ordering if you already have a 2.5 manual? There isn't any version information in my copy, just the copyright saying 1996-2009. Why do you use paypal as a service but don't take paypal as payment?
