  1. Check out this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGreatWar They release weekly vids recapping the events that occurred during the same week 100 years ago.
  2. I had asked a question on my original post. Since you quoted it, I can only assume you were attempting to answer it. Nevermind... You were clearly the wrong person to ask.
  3. Items such as rubber pads and bushings which are normal on western tracks does nothing to mitigate noise, vibration or road damage... the only factor is weight?
  4. You are making assumptions. Logic and reality do not always match up. I was hoping you had an article or something like that.
  5. Russian stuff always looks great on paper because they never mention the downside. Compared to the western tracks, how much better or worse were they in terms or noise, vibration, durability, maintenance and road damage? BTW, according to their own studies, the T-64's crew workload was 2.2 times more than that of the T-62. A large part of the reason was the loss of the 4th crewman.
  6. I had to look that up.
  7. How did you get from Largest Sea Battle in WWI to Greatest/Most Decisive Sea Battle Ever? Jutland was significant in that the British gained little in victory but could have lost everything if defeated. It was possible for the Germans to "win the war in a single afternoon". What was wrong with the Brit ship designs?

Right, I don't think I have ever seen a forum that does that automatically.

There is no time limit for post editing. I checked the setting and it is unchanged. Providing more details of the problem might help. Like, did you see any error message?

It sounds like your connection to sb.com is timing out. See if this continues over the next few days.

  12. Why are normal maps not being used? You can make 2000 polygons look like 30000 polygons. The left one is 30,000+ polygons and the right one is 632 polygons with a normal generated from the high poly mesh.
  13. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think both sides are correct. While it cannot be labelled irrefutable fact, enough evidence can be inferred to make some conclusions.

Yes, it will keep the formatting.
  17. They should have splurged on training instead. Awesome spall liner.
  18. You won't go wrong with any group around here. As a whole, our community is more civilized than most of the other online gaming communities out there. I originally came for the game and stayed because of the people. I would be more concerned if no one ever argued. If you are like me when I started out and just want to play as many games as possible per day. That is something groups are not great at. You might consider finding another new-ish community member who wants the same. There are a couple of steep hills to climb until things will start to click for you. Sharing the abuse and confusion with a buddy goes a long way to get you there.
  19. I was more interested in the part and expected a little more than $2 magnets. I will try to be more alarmed in the future. Anyway, thanks for the cheap entertainment guys. I will upload a field manual for helo operations as soon as I can find my external hd.
  20. You mean it wouldn't work just like it wouldn't work if you removed any one of the hundreds of other parts that make up a radar? lol The USAF...would not...be best in promoting anything about the AC. And They have no back ground in the calvary as we know it, so having them take over a role they don't posess is a bit of a strech don't ya think?
  21. Does everyone like the current setup for the video size or would you prefer a fixed size?
  22. Stay away from tree too.
  23. Are you seriously suggesting the USAF can take over the air calvary role with drones and the A-10 or are talking about something else again?
  24. Thanks. $2 magnets are not "major components".
