  1. Hey @thewood I feel compelled to jump in here. What I believe Ssnake is saying is this update is free so why would he make commitments regarding scope and timing that he may not be able to keep, and will only get criticised by some members of the community for if he misses? Also, Grenny is only creating content to showcase forthcoming features for the benefit of the community, perhaps as a “semi-official” activity. I think it’s great the upcoming update is getting people excited for the new content, but from eSim’s point of view it’s gratis to existing users so we need to cut them some slack. How many times has eSim not delivered an update when they’ve committed to do so? I’d hate to see this thread and Grenny’s content derailed because of “misunderstood” recent posts. My $0.02 anyway.
  2. The British camouflage for Sho’t Kal, of black and green bands, may make a usable proxy for Danish camouflage until something more accurate is available.
  3. Appreciate it and it's still on the cards. I've just got four 4.16x scenario updates and maybe one new (training) scenario to publish and then decks will be clear. The last update took a lot longer than planned!
  4. In light of the change of all Danish AFV crewmen in this scenario to 'US' to reflect CVC helmets worn by Danish AFV crew, I strongly recommend downloading and installing this skin from @Splash for increased immersion:
  5. It took a bit longer than a fortnight due to some substantial re-scripting to improve logic and achieve intended scenario outcomes but 'Armoured Infantry Company Attack at Rydsgard 1991 v2.0 (4.167)' is now available for download: Key changes from v1.6 include: - Scenario start time changed to 0400 to account for time and lighting system adjustments with 4.1x. - Look of all Danish AFV crew changed to 'US' to reflect CVC helmets worn by Danish AFV crews. - Substantial rebuild of Red counter-penetration and combat reconnaissance patrol (CRP) scripting and Blue scoring with clearer logic and improved modularity for ease of future updates. Enjoy!

This is a Delta map of the default ScaniaSE Base map, with reduced bumpiness, required for the scenario 'Armoured Infantry Company Attack at Rydsgard 1991'. Assuming a default file structure, it should be installed to /ProgramData/eSim Games/Steel Beasts/maps/packages/ScaniaSE. To download this map, enter 4944440a-1975-4727-b19e-25b2e3bf2c6d as the map package into the steel beasts map tools UI.
  7. Thanks @Iarmor. Have you come across the Desert Eagle publications on Israeli vehicles? If so, how do they compare to SabinaMartin for detail and quality? Desert Eagle’s title on ‘Zelda M113 in IDF Service - Part 3 APC & TOGA’ is next on my list to buy with ‘Magach 3 - IDF Patton M48 - M48A3 in IDF Service Part 1‘ and ‘Magach 6A/B - IDF Patton M60A1 - M60A1 in IDF Service Part 3‘ potentially further down the track. I notice SabingaMartin also offers ‘Magach Tanks of the IDF, Volume 3, Magach 3 Tanks After the Six-Day War’ so, when it comes to Magach 3, I’d be keen to understand which is the better resource? As you can probably tell, my interest in Israeli armour currently centres on the more modern vehicles of the Yom Kippur War, hence Shot Kal, Magach 3 / 6 and Zelda focus.
  8. Maintaining the Israeli armour theme of the last two posts, I just finished this exceptional single volume on the Shot Kal upgrade: https://www.amazon.com/Centurion-Tanks-Shot-Alef-VOL-3/dp/098414370X/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8. The title is now hard to find so I had to create a 'Want' at AbeBooks.com and wait for a copy to become available that way, which I immediately purchased. The single review at Amazon.com is mine, with a direct link here if you'd like to see what I thought: https://www.amazon.com/Centurion-Tanks-Shot-Alef-VOL-3/dp/098414370X/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8#customerReviews. Bottom line, try to get a copy if you're a fan of the Shot Kal (Alef) represented in Steel Beasts, my current tank du jour.
  9. Does this make Steel Beasts a mug’s game? Either way, it’s better with two. The Sho’t Kal joins my stable. Now for my coffee!
