  1. Looking forward in case you need some beta testers One question about the enemy AI in 3.0 version. Did it improve in some way ? I didn't see anything in the docs folder about this. I'm asking as I have the feeling that they react a bit "better" in the few scenarios I've tried in medium realism and medium difficulty. Anything related to better balistics or physics applying here ? Or maybe the nav mesh conversion allowing them to use the field in a more "intelligent" way ? Several time the opforce was reacting the same as before (within the mission's preplanned conditions) but they were quite accurate, deadly and also difficult to kill, eventhough I upgraded only the blue force with new tanks and left all red forces untouched when editing those scenarios ! Maybe some psychological parameters from my side here ? :redface:

So far I played a bit more and edited some scenarios with nav mesh conversion each time (the longest time for that was about 700secs for "Red Spear strv122" if I remember well) but I could not reproduce the only crash I had before. All graphics still maxed out, Windows task manager tells me that the SB process uses around 1Gb of ram and gpuz shows around 5.5Gb of dedicated ram and no more than 400Mb of dynamic memory used at the same time after 1h30 of gaming. I didn't change the argument in the game's shortcut, but I've attached the logs I found, I think the No10 was from when I got the crash. Hopefully it's a bit useful, otherwise I'll get back here if I get any crash I can reproduce :biggrin: Note that with drivers 13.10beta the trees/forest are appearing with a very thin white frame around each of them - hardly noticeable when you're concentrating on the fight and not really annoying for me. Hi Ssnake, I will keep everything maxed out and see if the SB process uses more than 3.5 Ram in my screen resolution (my system has 8Gb total Ram, graphic cards got 3) and otherwise will try to reproduce it by modifiying the same scenario file and see what it does. When I said "modified" I should have used "edited" as I only exchanged some units for the newer ones I wanted to try in scenarios I like :diable:. I just tried "Operation Steel Saber", edited it to add/exchange the same newer tanks and helos setup, and nav mesh conversion as game itself went all well. My pleasure to try to give you some "usefull" informations... but only in a few days then as I'm also starting to learn the MI8 module from DCS tonight and planning to go tomorrow with my babe for a few days off - that is my sweet miss K1300R of course, girlfriend needs to stay at work :debile2: You want these files sent by email or just published here as attachements ?

For me everything is ok, it was just a bit of panic late at night ...or early morning :biggrin: I tested version 3.0, everything maxed out, with modified scenarios like "National Guard Advance" and "Awaking the Bear", everything was ok with the first one but the second one I modified to add the M1A2SEP, Leo2A5A2DK and Apache support - real beauties much more impressive than on screenshots :luxhello: :eek2: , and the map needed the mesh conversion which went through in 10sec but crashed the game when I started the scenario. I restarted SB and all was ok. My setup is a bit special so don't know if the crash is SB3.0 related with scenarios compatibilities - I have 3770K@4.5Ghz with triple screen 5760x1200, xfire of HD7970 and 13.10beta drivers ...so lots of other reasons to crash Anyway it's really a nice version guys :thumbup:

Ok so Volcano was right, nothing to do with cm license as I just tried a new installation on another drive (without downloading again the 3.0 files, so torrent is ok) and it seems everything is running smooth in version 3.002(x86) :smilelove-1: Something was left from version 2.654 on the other hard drive's file, even after a regular uninstall :confused: :mad3: Thanks for help guys
  6. maybe a change of colors in the never version 5.00d from codemeter software ? I had mine not updated since I received it :redface:. @Volcano : good idea, I got the torrent file but will download again from mirror site to see if anything changes. Will try again tomorrow morning if I can convince the girlfriend not to go for a tour with the motorbike on one of the probably last weekends of nice weather around here :biggrin: Thanks for help
  7. Ok so I got the email by 11am CET and got the license activated right away. When I went to the codemeter website to check everything seemed ok and activated. Then I waited for 3.0 file to be available, got it, unistalled version 2.654, went through 3.0 install procedure and got all these errors messages when I first run it. In the taskbar the codemeter logo is in blue, no more green as before when I was running version 2.654. So I guess the problem might be from there. I installed version 3.0 in admin mode 3 times now, cleaning all related files I know in between, but no success and still the same error message if I try to run the game.
  8. Hi Gibsonm, yep had version 2.654 installed before. Basically I got the email for the new license and activated it right away without taking care of this file Ssnake is talking about - the explanations were not even posted when I first got the email. After having dowloaded the 3.0 version, I deleated the 2.654 and got through the instal procedure. I'm on seven 64

Apparently I failed to update correctly my codemeter license (the procedure is soooo simple I wonder what did I miss...) and now I have 2 licenses on my usb stick appearing in the codemeter control center : CmStick and ESIMGAMES. Cmtick has an activated license (logo in blue) but ESIMGAMES not (logo in grey). When I use the email link @codemeter.us/esim/webdepot/get..... the message says my licence is activated. (SBPE-30-UPGRADE SB Pro PE 3.0, add 1 license Activé) When I tried to start the game the first time, it told me I had an mpir.dll file missing which I got solved but now the game still doesn't want to start and I get messages about not being able to read customcolorpalette.bmp and randomcolorpalette-iso.bmp and then general application error. I uninstalled codemeter software and SBpro pe 3.0, reinstalled everything but no success. I guess I've screwed up with the file copied on the HDD and that needed to be send back to whatever website... Any idea how I can get this sorted out and finally enjoy this long awaited release ? Thanks in advance.

  12. Hi everyone, just got SB pro PE a couple of days ago and it's a real pleasure to get back into a modern turret since SB1 . The sim is running smooth on my eyefinity configs :smilelove-1: and despite the annoying computer ai regarding the friendly forces ( like the tendancy to almost always getting stuck in woods... or going into rivers with a vehicule not made for it :shocked: ) the hardcore sim fan in me is fully enjoying it !! After having tried unsuccessfully to get the informations in the different manuals or on the web, I need some advices about the support vehicules that are repairing/towing and rearming the platoons : 1- I understand that bringing a damaged vehicule near a M113 repair team will decrease the repair time needed, but how can I tow a damaged vehicule away from frontline with the M88A1 MRV team ? I saw nothing as such option from F8 or F5 view. So far that is . 2- Once my tanks used all of their ammos, should bringing them close to a supply team start a resupply procedure (?) like it does with medic team and wounded crew ? I tried that in one mission but with no luck for the resupply side, wounded crewmen were healed but that's was all for the support. 3- I found no tutorials regarding the handling of the T72 - specially the gunnery part :diable: . Anything available or did I miss a file ? Also does anyone have maybe a pdf file with all the cockpit buttons and commands translated in english ? I saw nothing in the SB folder :confused:. Thanks for any help
