  1. thanks Gibson, but for low flying CAS I believe there is. It could be the charts though.
  2. thank you for introducing me to certain terms like FLOCARK. Is there an aeronautical equivalent?
  3. Thats a real nice piece of software! I've been wanting something like this for a long time. I also checked BC video, and while its supposedly a generals thing or top level sim for conflict advisers / planners apparently, I am tempted to dig in. thanks Gibson.
  4. The realism of this sim is incredible! My favourite vehicle so far (havent tried them all really) is the A1 Abrams MBT. Because its very much manual in nature, and you are not sure what is behind trees at the 8x zoom level even in thermals.
  5. I just used Shift + F12 to get good resolution cuts from the scenario (Tanks again) map. Here are a few screenshots of the software (iPad 2 version). You can use it to insert NATO/REDFOR graphics (you import them into the program), measure distances, and even overlay the 6400 grid point designator for artillery strikes. It has precision mode for drawing four basic shapes being ellipse, triangle, arc, angle, or square and rectangle. Precision mode also helps with measurements. Notice: I am not in anyway affiliated with Concepts app. Its a recommendation for stitching and picture manipulation software. I hope it could be of some use to you guys.
  6. I wouldnt call it an accident. The AI was behind me and they should mimic my moves, right?
  7. It was a good fight guys. I am really happy with the teamwork involved and the emphasis on comms. Despite the poor driving, the delay in catching up, and of course being target fixated, I think it was a good first time for me. Perhaps next time, we can try it again with nothing on my plate RL wise and not be pressed for time. May I also suggest we work on formation keeping? T3, Chris, and Gibson see you next time.
  8. Can the driver compartment be fully modeled in M1A1 at least? Sometime the trees stick me between them. And can you add ragdolls to the gunner position? toggle-able ragdolls? And can the gunner see past his cube into the TC position? Is it possible to include A-10 attack aircraft? even as strafing effects only? Like giving 9 line using the fire support submenu for munitions 30mm API with direction in mils already there and burst of 1-1.5 seconds and a turn nose on target delay of 30 seconds?
  9. thanks Nils. looking forward to the new edition.
  10. But I dont want to let church know I am here. Maybe church has enemy soldiers with laser warning receivers? Ones that tell something is painting us in laser? I want to be stealthy. Sneak up on enemy and hit them where the armour is thinnest. The derriere.
  11. I meant next version. Edited as directed. So its Forty Ooo Ess Dollarz yeah... No problem. Stick I keep? URL and internet? Swwwweeeett!
  12. I have SB 4 license cmstick. Will I need to upgrade to the next edition and if so how much will it cost me. Do I need to send back the stick to esim games for a license upgrade?
  13. I dont think a serviceman current or not will shimmer light on these delicate matters.
  14. Ah I see. So because azimuth is powered hence gunner and thus turret is stopped. makes sense now. I can already laugh at a poor mans CWS if it was stabilised and TC would be fighting the whole turret to scan independently. thanks fellas.
  15. no I am in the commander seat. the gunner scans normally with my sight moving with him. The problem is, the sight of the fifty cal is dependent on the gunner turret control. So when I am looking at the fifty cal sight, without touching the controls to move the sight and thus the fifty cal, the gunner resumes searching and even my sight moves along with him. If I click with the mouse to steer the fifty sight left or right, the turret is fully stopped as if I just depressed the palm switch and took control of the whole turret, even though I am only looking at and interacting with and moving the fifty cal sight. To me it feels like the TC fifty nest is halfway a coaxial gun nest. Is it in real life freely swiveling in the turret? or is it fixed? I thought TC might engage targets with the fifty independent on where the turret and thus the gunner is looking. I am speaking purely M1A1 (no HA/IP/whatever) Perhaps a video is in order this time?
  16. I'm trying to scan with the fifty cal gunsight F3 view but as soon as I move it side to side the turret feels like it is being overriden from the gunner. Is this normal behaviour? Meaning the gunner stops scanning and the familiar pfft sound plays denoting a stopped turret. I also read that in certain models the TC has his own sight and is irrespective of the gunner sight and he can slew the gunner and thus the turret to whatever he is looking at without being coaxial with the gunner. Which model if any, is it?
  17. thats alright Nils. Thanks.
  18. Hey Nils, I did uninstall all codemeter runtimes (and they were just one runtime strange enough), then I rebooted the PC, then I reinstalled latest runtime 6.60c iirc and now I still have two instances on the taskbar. Its not bothering me but will it affect gameplay in any way?
  19. congratulations. perhaps a nick change to gramps is in order?🍻
  20. I think the best way to end an objective is when the enemy is fleeing the objective. That could be units outside zone after a set time during the mission or after attriting at least 50% of their forces.
  21. And here is my humble attempt with the infamous M1A1 insta action mission, where I am trapped in a minefield.
