  1. Sorry but how does: Morph into crewable T-55s?
  2. Yes I was wondering myself why Jartsev was so excited?!
  3. Who? http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=16238 0830 GMT on Thursday, January 31. Due to recent changes to Daylight Saving Time in some parts of Australia and New Zealand this equates to: 0830 in London 1630 in Perth 1800 in Darwin 1830 EST in Brisbane 1900 in Adelaide 1930 EDT in Sydney and 2130 NZDT in Auckland http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20130131T0830
  4. Looks like Shoalwater Bay. One of our training areas which is about the size of Belgium. Good Aust gun drills too. Coax, CC's 0.50", and of course "Canister ON!"
  5. Don't forget your outrageously expensive navigation aide. Lase key terrain features, etc. and use the range to help you "check navigate" (I'm 1500m from the hill, etc.).
  6. What else did you expect from something from Redmond?
  7. Hopefully not too late but you can use "winclone" to copy the BootCamp image. Will send you a PM about the rest.
  8. Well the AS4 isn't American to start with. And I think its the only vehicle here with a turret to replicate the Bulldog's protected weapon station. It also replicates the spall liners, etc. (unsure if the earlier ones do or not). But its up to you.
  9. Well "best" is a relative term. If you mean the "Bulldog" (F432 Mk 3?) then its probably the M113AS4.
  10. Hamachi is not "required". Hamachi lets you bypass the need to configure your Router, etc. as detailed here: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=7739 With the "cost" being that performance drops away.
  11. Well if the only difference is the weight of the passenger ....
  12. Daskal, I get "embedding disabled" for the above.
  13. No sorry should have explained the "legend" "Purple" = currently active fires (heat plumes) assessed as warranting attention detected by the satellite's last pass. So "brand new" fires "Red" = currently active fires (heat plumes) assessed as warranting attention detected by the satellite in the previous 12 hours. Fires that have established themselves. "Yellow" = currently active fires (heat plumes) assessed as warranting attention detected by the satellite in the previous 12-24 hours. Fires that have been established for up to 24 hours and are ongoing. So this tracks fires by "age" and location (you can zoom in from 1:20,000,000 to 1:10,000).
  14. Personally (i.e. in my back yard) none, but a recent snapshot:
  15. Correct. Usually white stuff and apparently you don't eat the yellow variety? There is a snow season here but its a few hours drive away and basically consists of spending a sh*tload of cash to get a lift to the top of a hill and slide back down while avoiding the trees. Don't see the point myself.
  16. Averaging a slightly more that "balmy" +30 to +40 C here.
  17. You might want to test that on an ASLAV before going firm on it. IIRC, disabling something simple before broke everything (no power traverse or elevation, no gunner's primary siight, no ability to fire at all, etc.). If the Luchs is meant ot have only hand crank traverse and elevation, fine - but you probably should put that in the notes in bold or everyone will complain.
  18. Drop me an email and I'll see what we can do.
  19. Sure but you used the word "invading" in your OP which has quite a different meaning to "invited in":
  20. Rather than "patching" to 2.654, have you tried: 1. Uninstalling 2.640. 2. Installing (as Administrator) 2.654 complete? The full version (not a patch) is here (top entry on page, you need all 7 parts): http://www.esimgames.com/Downloads.htm
  21. Agreed, except that France was asked to help by Mali.
  22. Well if you think that's a "vehicle" ... I'm guessing "road speed" is likely to be pretty low though.
  23. What do you think the gun does when it goes off? If that's not a "boom box" I don't know what is.
