Not sure if your allowed to answer CR2 commander (Due to military restrictions) It would be really interesting to know. How accurately do you think the CR2 model is modelled in SB. In terms of fire control.and what in your opinion needs changing/ improving for the CR2 model.

Regarding the models/ skins. A little bit of artistic licence is fine with me Looking forward to it.

I also agree with volcano I consider my self a military vehicle enthusiast. I think one can differentiate between. appreciating the engineering aspect Of the machines And the politics of the people sending them in to conflict.

You can count me in. sounds like fun I am pretty sure the panzer battalion guys will have some useful thoughts On how to progress with the project as they already have some WW2 type scenarios .As for The skins quite a few already exist.

If you want any help building the mission let me know I wonder if we could get enough Guys interested in a WW2 type multipayer co_op scenario. Personally i would use the leo_1AS as the Sherman. The leo_1a5 DK as the panther The leo_2a4 as the tiger tank.The 2E can be the king tiger. the T-55 as the T-34/85 the T_62 as the KV 1.

Hoggydog Till you find a suitable WW2 sim. Try using the leo_1AS as a panther and the T-55 as a T34/85 you can use The Damage menu in the editor to take out the the dynamic lead and so on And give both tanks the lowest rated ammo Also use the Auxiliary sight as your main sight And you will soon learn why most WW2 tanks halted before they fired .ha

I Agree Hoggydog But only if we get one of these. I have been unable to locate any reports of the I/S 3 and king tiger clashing. Any body know if the meet in combat.and if so what was the result

I Spent a few hours today Goggling pics of old soviet equipment. BMP-1/2. T_72 etc. One thing stood out, the amount of modernisation packages on offer by Russian/western and Israeli Arms company's.some of the modernisation on offer for the BMP's were very impressive. At-least in terms of firepower And would certainly put them on par with There western build equivalents in that Area. They would be A dangerous Adversary on the battlefield.With some of them being fitted with top of the line ATGM's like spike. It would be interesting if some of these vehicles were in the next upgrade. Like the Romanian MLI-84M.a BMP Upgrade. I Also found some impressive looking new vehicles like the Anders.Light tank/IFV developed in Poland Anders

The puma has just gone up a couple of places on my personal wish list. And hopefully We mite get it in SB one day.

Excellent video Skybird. I new the puma was high tech. But its some piece of equipment. I was really impressed by the ability to integrate the simulation and run it from the vehicle. A very clever innovation. and in the long run cost effective.But this is just my opinion. the Only thing the puma lacks is a ATGM launcher.

Dont they make a nice couple.ha

Did anybody make a video the mission. I think the you tube videos of multiplayer events like this are a great way Of showing people that steel beasts is as intense as any other type military Sim.

I have always found the debate about force ratio's very interesting. The hole quality v quantity debate intrigues me. One other aspect that i find interesting .(is the quality of the tank crews.) Many on this site have served in the military. or are currently serving solders. So here is the question for you Guys. In a purely hypothetical situation. If you had to choose between having start of the art Equipment. IE. Leo-2A6/M1A2. but the crews were poorly trained and not very motivated. Or crews that were very well trained and highly motivated but had old out dated Equipment. But still effective enough to hold there own.but with disadvantages in sighting systems main Gun Ammo and so on. Against superior equipment. I Know there are many factors such as air support and Arty support. Logistic's and so on. But as soldiers what would you choose. A good crew or a good Tank.
