Please oh Please - Give us a Sound Effects Volume slider so I can turn down the SB2 sound effects and have them playing at a low volume in the background while I play my own music over it at a higher volume.

There's nothing better than being in the TC's view with an M-1 company in line, moving at top speed over open terrain, charging some evil commie hoarde, guns a blazin', hearing "Target" and "Identified", and seeing the smoking hulks in the distance with America the Beautiful or Proud to be an American or The Star Spangled Banner blaring in the background. It gives me freaking goose bumps :heartpump:

(Of course charging an ICP hoarde with music going in the background is almost as good as a commie hoarde) :P

Well if you tried listening to some music that isn't as Panzzy Ass as The"Boss"...

Maybe you wouldn't need to turn down the EFX's....

If you feel worthy to come to the dark side of the traveling circus,

Why not get a soundtrack that goes hand in hand with the murder go round!

WHO"S GOING CHICKEN HUNTING?!?

Volume sliders is one of the things we would like to add, but in the mean time (depending on how your CD drive is set up) you can turn down the WAV volume on your system's volume slider and you can turn up the CD volume slider until you get the desired level.

Volume sliders would be great, but us Russkies prefer other songs than those from corrupt western democratic nations. Nothing beats the good old Soviet National Anthem, presented by the choir of Red Army of course.

"Unbreakable Union of freeborn Republics,
Great Russia has welded forever to stand.
Created in struggle by will of the people,
United and mighty, our Soviet land!

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

Through tempests the sunrays of freedom have cheered us,
Along the new path where great Lenin did lead.
To a righteous cause he raised up the peoples,
Inspired them to labor and valorous deed.

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

In the vict'ry of Communism's deathless ideal,
We see the future of our dear land.
And to her fluttering scarlet banner,
Selflessly true we always shall stand!"

Americans make great songs too, but they can't compare to that!

...and I really don't want to hear the blare that must be the music of the ICP...

Well how about PA systems mounted to our tracks?

"Attention! Attention lost souls of the ICP... you surely must understand the hopelessness of your situation. Your leaders have thrown your lives away in a lost cause and we will destroy you all unless you surrender yourselves immediatly! Even now our forces are marching on your cities... we will spare your women for our own uses. You must surrender. For those of you who wish to live we, offer warm camels and as soon as we can think of other things you bastards might desire we will offer that too... "

the track that carried th PA system would make for a good target :D

muhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

American and Russian hymns in all their honour but what about …

Recommended for panzerbattles:

For those about to rock (we salute you), described as the most auspicious marriage of music and artillery since Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" :D and still provides a spectacular finale to AC/DC concerts!

Also Big Gun, Fire Your Guns, Heatseeker and why not Shoot to thrill. ;)

I am partial to Das Boot. I think the track "Appell" is good for an assembly area, "U 96" or "Konvoi" work well during an assault, and "Heimkehr" or "Ruckzug" are best for a fast motor march. Most of the other tracks work well for a set-defense or a scouting mission.

The only difficulty, of course, is having the right tracks playing at the right time.

For myself i would listen to the song the german tank commamders sing in The Battel of the Bulge :o I don't know what they are singing but they seem to have the right attitude.

I take it that any singing by the "chipmunks" is out of the question?

Oddball! Also like the Red Army choir, and must mention the Hymn to Red October from the "The hunt for the Red October" movie soundtrack, a must!!.

Chaplain! Totally agree with your choice! Another favourite is The Battle from the "Gladiator" movie soundtrack.

Gustav Holst's "Mars: Bringer of War." Nothing better.

BTW, I have ARRIVED, ladies and gentlemen. Edinburgh is awesome, bad traffic and crummy weather nonwithstanding. Looks like I'm one of the European SBers for the next 6 months.

How about the music from “Kelly Heroes” or the theme from “Blues Brother”

I think the song from the Battle of the bulge was “Panzar Leher” or something like that or was is “Horst Weisel”?

Although someday my tactical handling is so bad it should automatically start up the “F Troop song”

By the way I have started campaigning for SB 2 from my wife as a birthday present in May

I think the song from the Battle of the bulge was “Panzar Leher” or something like that or was is “Horst Weisel”?It was the "Panzerlied" ("Panzer song"), and not that old SA hymn "Horst Wessel Lied".By the way I have started campaigning for SB 2 from my wife as a birthday present in MayBetter look for an alternative. It's probably not going to make it by May, so you could go for that kick ass joystick instead. ;)
