I'm working on a SP scenario where the player has the option to call for reinforcements, if needed (so far, it usually is ;) ). I have some units set to embark to a rendezvous point when a trigger is activated. The "ownership" of the unit is also watching for the trigger.

However, what I see happening is that the units move to the rendezvous point as they should and I can even get into the TC, gunner, or outside view while they are moving, but am not able to direct their movements or set another route for them. This is true both before and after they have reached the rendezvous point.

What am I doing wrong??? :(

Hm. Sounds reasonable. It should work... :o

I have the original SB and have patched to the latest level. Can you suggest anything I can try in order to isolate the problem? If not, I guess I'll need to start deleting things and adding them back to see if something somehow got corrupted. :(

For some reason, the ownership of the unit doesn't change from computer to player if you're riding in it. You will have to change unit for a second before the computer controlled unit will switch to player controlled. Hope this helps you.

I set up a scenario where the Mech Infantry were owned by the computer till X:XX time into the game, where they switched to the player. Although the Icon for the platoon changed and I got control of the vehicles. When the infantry deployed they were still controlled by the computer. Any comments?

The latter one is a known bug. Sorry, no workaround. I hope we'll get it fixed in SB2.
