Alternately, you can take the serious route:

*shot of M1 platoon watching an approaching T-80 battalion from concealment*

TC: FIRE!!!

*and they do*

Voiceover: The main battle tank. Out of fuel...

*cut to shot of tanks and PCs rolling through a town or some other eye-candy shot*

...You get a pillbox. Out of ammunition...

*shot of nighttime battle, with tracers going everywhichaway*

...You get a bunker.

*shot of a lone Leo, hopefully with visible battle damage, watching a T-72 peek around the corner of a building. The Leo fires*

Out of time...

*the obligatory high-speed-Leo-fleeing-ICM barrage shot*

...You get heroes.

Another idea would be to intersperse real war footage in between scenes and instead of fading to black, have an M1 roll over the camera with the sounds of a massive artillery bombardment in the background with panicked radio chatter.

Assuming that there might be(Hint Hint) a Night Vision mode for the TC F7/F8 view, it would be neat to see an early morning arty bombardment(HE Smoke) followed by a platoon of T90's haulin ass through the smoke only to be lit up by the LRF from multiple M1s then see the turrets fly off in a flash!
Scout Platoon leader surveys the Avenue of Approach with coffe in one hand and Handset in the other.
Arty incoming then coffe splashes to the ground and the engine of the Bradley gurgles to life.
* Radio chatter: CONTACT!! Grid Hotel Foxtrot seven niner tree four four.....*
M3 explodes.

* cut to several scenes of an MP game in progress from the varied players viewpoints*
a seventeen year old guy in Cali franticly punchin the keyboard and spillin Cheetos on his lap*
cut to Europe showing a "Real" German/Italian/French/Israeli.... tank Commander ( with a CVC on his head)with a cigar in the corner of his mouth and an evil grin on his face in an OP room with twenty other guys hooked up on a LAN with a giant Map in the background on the wall.

smiting smiting
tank hit
inf launching, tank destroyed
HE on infantry
tank firing, and the target being hit.
inf. dismounting
gunner mawing inf. with coax

etc..


show the carnage, and they will come :D

Expression changes from one of tired concern to relaxed joy....pan back to show him in the comfort of his home with a cup of coffee and warm pajamas in front of his screen playing SB2....

I think some of the guys figure E-sim has a bottomless advertising budget. Maybe I should have stated 'magazine' ad like for PC Gamer magazine and the rest.

It would be cool to see a commercial though :thumbup:

It wouldn't be too hard to put together an online commercial/demo film. Heck, the guys over at Pirates of the Burning Sea (http://www.burningsea.com) just released a very simple one, and I'm sure that once it has all the eye-candy details worked out, SB2 would be able to put together a (much better) video that'd satisfy both twitch kiddies and grognards alike.
