Shadow of Loser LP Sabot Returns

Over 2yrs ago, after I had been in chat and MP for around 6 months, and "learned the rules of proper conduct" by reading hundreds of post prior to joining in MP for the first time, there came a new guy named LP Sabot and he only battled in M1's. His first jump at success came as taking the CoA slots and basically refusing to let the Vets have that slot, and saying, something to the effect, I have just as much right as they do, I know what I am doing, No, and on..

Well, it didn't take long for those that play by the rules and had, and have, respect of them and others, to this day, started to boycott him, effectively, until he got the message (he ain't gonna win) with that kind of behavior in here and things mellowed out somewhat for a while, UNTIL, this loser had a brilliant thought..

He took his favorite scenario, (that he just couldn't get the feel for, and "changed" it and everytime he got the chance, he hosted it.. BUT, it didn't take long for those on the opposite side, in the LEOS to see that he had done 2 things to insure HIS victorys as CoA of the blue M1 side..

First, he changed the ammo loads, so that the M1's had A2ammo, and the Leos kept the original DM33.. along with with adding pre set tirggers of every BP known for Red to take, around 8 as I recall, and they where the fast acting type.. 30 secs.. BOOM.. (and no triggers for blue).

Well, needless to say, he got blackballed by most, and finally vanished.. couldn't have happened to a nicer guy..


Well, his shadow has returned, and if you come across a Scenario called "Test of Metals 2 coys IVF included.. Take NOTE:

Blue M1's has the tactical advantage in the South with hills, trees gulleys, running E to W while the Red side, Leos, have basically flat, exposed routes to and around the obj..

On top of this, the AA areas where changed from move too.. anywhere E to W to a fixed location deep in the upper NE corner for RED.. while the Blue get to start Dead Center in their area..

If ya don't get it, take a look at this Sce.. and the Map and chk it out..

Um.....I don't think that it's that one sided......I've played it several times as Red, and done quite well. You just need to keep in mind the good sniping spots for blue. At the start of the game, you also need to take the hills to the west of OBJ, so that blue cannot occupy them.

Terrain does favor blue.....but I think you are exaggerating a bit.

Tell ya what......come online at 2100 EST and we can play it, me red you blue.

I like a map where both sides can take an obj.. not by means of a static defence, but with the option of attacking flanks as well, and with that start for red in the NE corner.. no joy.

And dewman, i did change the name, in fact i changed it to 2 companies,the first one is called simply, test of metal ammo update, and blue had better ammo, i gave both sides A2 ammo.there were flaws in the original, including red having a smaller map side and penalty zones not clearly marked, i fixed that, and gave red an extra few hundred yds at the back of its maop so it could maneuver better.i also gave red one more APC than blue.LS is mistaken in saying there was an original MOVE to capabiluity in the original, they were fixed starting positions as given to me by gary owen. Blue has to race across the whole damn map to get to its BPs east, and red still crests that hill first, in the versuion i made. Nikatori did at one point change it to 2 companies, eliminating the bradleys and adding a deployment zone that was adjustable,. this made the scenario even more unbalanced, as then blue can just sldie east and red has no hope of advancing in the open against blues positions east, all blue jhas to do is wait for red to arrive, the version nik has is "test of metal, 2 coys" the original is test of metal, ammo update, that i gitot from gary owen, and the one where i fixed the boundaries and put the inf back in and fixed deployment zone so red could get east first is "test of metal 2 comps w/IFVs", so everything he said is a damned lie. dont beleive everything you hear dewman and dont be so quick to judge, look at them both, you will see i am telling the truth

Given the FACT that AA is a 10 in this sim, you maybe a 7, me, maybe a 9, but the difference between a 9 and a 10 is so vast, I doubt you could comprehend it, but AA given any situation in this sim, the worse the odds, the more he likes the challenge of beating them, for which he ususlly does..

Big words from one who has never played by the spirit of the rules, until, you learned the hard way, that in fact, we are a proud community with rules and a respect of them which I learned by reading and listening as I was told what is good, and what is not.. (quickly with no arguments)

And for as knowing the maps, (lots of them) yes, I learned them the hard way, for about 1 year of getting my ass handed to me time and time again by the likes of AA, Hack, Caveman, GO, Boof, Poker, Joe, Kam60, Cush, Oddball, GS McAmis, just to name a few of the BEST Tankers in this SIM.. the old fashion way, time and time again, month after month, till, I got sight of what and how things work...without changing one map.. NONE
