Interesting Read if you've got the Time

The below is an interesting read if you have the time as it is quite long. It is a document published by the National Security Council of the USA and defines the United State's current National Strategy (at least the non-classified parts of it anyway).

Please - I'm making no statement or presenting any judgements I just thought those of us that are politically and histrorically minded would enjoy seeing this.

I don't agree with the idea in the first paragraph-that there exists a decisive delineation of anything. Aren't events that we are dealing with today a continuation of what has been going on? Though it may be useful to say such things in terms of a rhetorical kind of cheer-leading, it is otherwise not the most insightful, if not altogether honest apprasial, in my view. It should hope that strategists in a governement administration don't actually operate on that kind of assumption.
