Greetings all,

If you've noticed lately that this site is never remembering you and that you've already logged in or on before, and your missing the newest posts then it may be a cookie handeling problem.

All web sites will or may require a cookie to be left on your computer, so the next time you arrive there it will know how and what to display on your screen. In the EI6 browser you can select a special or unique site to keep the cookie (your login stuff) no matter how the other sites are set.

To start go to the top under " tools " .. select " internet options " select the " privacy " tab.
within this page there are two area's, the top should be set at least to medium [no lower] the lower section is where we will be making our special setting. This area is titled " Web Sites " and there is an " Edit " button, select the edit button and a new area will pop up.
Here there are two areas to work with. The top area is where we will insert the web page address for the trusted page we want ... type " steelbeasts.com " without the quotes and select "allow" It will now appear in the lower area, you can always change this later if you want. ( this will keep the cookie even when you select the normal option of delete cookies/ delete files/ clear history )

After you do this, each and every time you select the steelbeasts site from your favorites list or link to it your login and setting will open the way you want it. Any other site works the same way, just type in the web page address and select " allow ". BUT be carefull who and what sites you " ALLOW " It's your privacy and you must trust the site. I only have ONE site, this one. All others must ask or are denied cookie retension. Besides i clear all the cookies before I close the browser.

Have a nice day, later 9erRed

I like Opera as my browser since it displays the cookie content, its expiration date (I never accept year 2036 cookies), and that you can allow (or deny) specific servers and domains to place cookies on your machine. Once that you have excluded, say, the server "ads.mediaplex.com" from your cookie list, Opera never bugs you again. Likewise you can disable all pop-ups, or make them pop under, or restrict it to those you explicitly requested by mouse click (e.g. thumbnails on a website). All this makes Opera more convenient than the all-or-nothig approach of the Internet Explorer. I still use it on rare occasions (mostly when visiting Windows update), but Opera is my browser of choice since it can be set to protect privacy and be moderately secure while retaining productivity.
