I have been trying to join MP games for a couple weeks but cannot connect to a game.
I type in the IP (and port if it needs one), click go, and it says "looking for games." But a game never pops up.
I have Zone installed, but turn it off. I even reinstalled Direct X.
And I do have ver1.226
Anyone had this problem?
Help please!

My only thought is, could it be your connection type/ router being used, and it has a firewall that will not allow you to join in games? I have heard of this type "router" problem, and some people can fix it within their bio's and some cannot.. I don't know how to expain it any further, but I will try and get Black6 to post a reply here to ya.. as he had a router problem that was keeping him form joining any online MP games and made some adjustments as mentioned above and is now kicking ass "again" in MP games..
Hang in there.. more help is otw..

Do you have a network or router?

I have a cable connection at my home without a router. I am in Japan, so I don't know if the cable company has something between me and the net. (I don't even know if such things exist, I am reaching here cause I am out of ideas). I do download download everything under the sun with Emule, Soulseek, bittorrent, etc. . .
I have had some problems trying to send and receive ICQ files. Sometimes it wont let me connect;sometimes it will. I reinstalled the game a few minutes ago and am going to try right now.
Thanks for the help. Any other ideas are welcome!

Do you work for Opera?
No, I don't. I just work against Microsoft whenever I get the chance :)
I don't think I was clear in my last post, but is the any chance my cable company can have the line from my house hooked into a router? I live in a small apartment complex, which is why I am wondering.
