How do you take pictures from a singles battle and put it on the forums? Can i take them during a fight while the tracers are flying, or must i wait until the end?

hold the shift key down and hit the F12 key anytime :)
then follow the directions to up load when you make a post

What directio9ns? I just ran 73 eastings with shift F12 on. Now what do i do to find the pictures? I am not the most computer literate guy out here, so if you can instructions please. :oops:

Shift+F11, not F12.
Steel Beasts creates a folder "SavedImages", then a subfolder with the date you took them, and numbers all screenshots with a time stamp.

You can also search for SS_*.bmp files with the Explorer.

Once that you have found them, you will probably want to convert the file format from BMP to PNG, GIF, or JPG. For this you need a program that can at least convert the file formats (all image processing applications and many viewers can do that).

PNG compresses well, but is a rather rarely used format.
GIF compresses screenshots of SB1 lossless to about 20% original size, but a company claimed that they want license fees for every single GIF image ever created. Right now they don't chase consumers like the RIAA does, but you never know...
JPG offers even better compression than GIF, but at the price of reduced legibility of in-game text (it gets blurred in the compression process). JPG therefore cannot be considered a lossless compression procedure.
