Ah! Hold spacebar down when you're looking at the map! Why wasn't that in any of the tutorials -- it is so useful! :D I'm sure you all know this, but I'm just excited ... now I don't have to look at the map for 20 minutes to figure out where to go. :D

Yea Strogian, ain't it cool.. lol

That part, reading the black and white map during MP lasted for me over 1 yr, before someone finally told me the secret of holding down the spacebar.. and, for my first 6 months of MP, I did not know you could move (rotate) the "battlebars" and had my tanks killed from either behind or flank kills time and time again, then it took me another 6 months to finally start sending others ass's back to them in the mail, but at least my tanks didn't die with one shot kills as fast, as they took 2, or more hits "facing the enemy" to finally kill them... lol

Do you know about holding down the alt key to see if one spot can be seen from another?

EE.. during pre-battle planning, if you clk on LOS, the map turns into color, giving you the landscape in diff colors to give you heights, but once the battle starts, and you jump onto the map, it is in black and white only but, if you hold down the "spacebar" the map will turn to color and make for routing of the fly much easier in regards to the high and low parts of the landscape..

I'll let Scud explain the "alt" key operation, as I am not sure..

LS

Hold the Alt key while clicking and dragging with the mouse for a quick point-to-point LOS check.
