Hi guys
got some ideas for SB2

Increase the number of events and triggers in editor
Add more tanks like
older versions like T55,AMX13's,Centurians,
many countries stilll use these

Newer versions
like
Chanllanger 2,Merkava,T-90,Arjun,M1A2

add Jeeps ,trucks,rovers with ATGMs on top

add more structures like buioldings ,huts etc.

Enable user to Fire and control ATGM from inf and vech.

also
for countries such as india where in a Platoon there are 4 tanks but tanks are russian mostly
to do this we had to creat M1A1 platoon and then devide then then change each divided part to Leo2
to enable me to have 4 tanks in one Platoon.

there should be a feture to enable Russian vechs to have 4 tanks in a platoon.

also add MG nest. bunkers. sand bags.
Walls would also be good

all these are encountered in modern battles .
also i suggest to include ATGms such as Javline

also have u considered a UAV or servallians option
example like now players call arty they can also call UAV to recon the area .

Ya, lets add every armored vehicle in existance, plus future prototypes, and implement air support, plus lets add a geopolitical system to the campaign mode, as well as battles based at the corps level. Also, we need to add fully modeled, accurate, FP, infantry model like OFP, along with Naval units for beach head landings etc., we'll also want to implement tact nukes as well, and we definitely need voice recognition build into the game, so you can ussue orders through mike, and then implement a speech to voice synthesizer so that in MP, you can speak, have it translated to markup text (for transfer), then converted back into audio via the translator, also we want fully modeled logisitics, fuel tankers, the works. It would also be nice to be able to get out of the tank and do field repair. You definitely need to make a full simulator (mock M1) integrated with SB2 to be available for commercial use. You also need to make it affordable for consumers, like say......200$. Eventually.....we are going to discover aliens, and we are going to need to combat them with tanks, so I suggest you implement a version of Xcom based on the the tanks of the future to combat the Aliens at their home base on Mars. Then we will discover the Stargate.....

Hey, once that we have refined the tactical mobility and suspension model, why not add a race track or two, so we can have a racing simulation as well? And since the AAR already offers virtual helicopter flights, we can easily add a helicopter sim. All of them would be fully networkable and compatible. Well, and I guess the general looks are good enough for a shooter game too. And we could have a hot baloon sim, and a golf game as well. Since we are at it, there's water in the game. Why not add a Navy component? And Marines. And submarines - from WW1 to present day. The technology is all there. Can't be that diffcult, right?

I know, I know!! Make it so that you can simulate armored combat against any type of war machine manufactured at any time in history, with allowances for going up against the next generation weapons also! Phase plasma rifles in the 40 watt range...

Can your company of Leos take on an entire army of Roman legionairres? Or how about seeing the difference a modern tank would have made for the Germans on the western front in WWI. So how would the battle of Gettysburg gone had Pickett's charge been made with M113's and Bradleys? I'm dying to find out.

No problem, dude. After SB2 you can trash all other wargames and simulations. It's going to be the perfect simulation-wargame-shooter-RTS-racing-navy game putting all other games to shame. It's so simple! Why didn't anyone else think about it before? I guess we're geniuses...

ROFLMAO!!!!!! Seriously, though... having SB as a plug-in for the new MS Flight Sim shouldn't be too much of a problem, should it?

Certainly not. Maybe we should throw in a universal multiplayer engine to connect any game with SB2. So you could invade a SimCity game with an armored company on a rampage, or help defend it against Godzilla.

While we are doing all these great upgrades can we add a moon based fighter squadrian so that if the enemys captured our rear we can still call in air support?

And a few more things.

1 I would like to feel what ever happens so can we get a pod with the game so that if we take a hit we go deaf and shake?

2 Can we add some bad cooks that will come to our house and fix sea rats?

3 You know Every Armoured Vechicle ive been in bounces like a ball so the pod needs that too!

4) And can we add a Sniper mode to game for inf squads?

And last but not least can we add a feature where we are as uncomfortable as possible and if its cold/raining /or night outside when we switch to inf we get wet or cold or lights go out?

6) I ALMOST FORGOT WE NEED SNAKES AND BUGS AND ALL THOSE OTHER THINGS TO MAKE IT REAL!


OK now i've ranted look guys Esims game made SB w/0 us sending list that were totaly unrealistic and it seems to be a hit so let's let the pro's build it and be happy when it's done

exactly what I think,let them develop this game like they want, I dont want to wait too much... Im young, and I want to play SB2 during my youth...

Hmmm...I quite fancy that idea. Never been much of a racing game type...but out with the naff cars and in with the tanks...that does sound like my brand of vodka.

well, some guys already managed to make a racing game for Il-2 sturmovik.
and it's possible for SB1 as well. strip the vehicles for ammo,
set up a path of mission objectives, giving points for getting there first,
add a few roads and forests to quarrel about, shortcuts and stuff,
and you have an interesting mix of bags. the one with the most points at the end is the winner :P
now go on, mapman, i'm sure you can make it..

Naw let them keep the ammo. It will make it more interesting. :shock:

While working on a scenario and trying to create a "highway" whenever my humvees try to make a sharp turn at "fast" speed, they do a pretty good impression of a rally car.

Can we add the Martian ships from War of the Worlds? See how they melted tanks? Weapon solution must be easier for a death ray than something that follows a ballistic path. If it is in LOS, turret automatically pops off.

Put in a cheat code that ups the LRF into the 40 exawatt range. You just lase the target and it vaporizes. :mrgreen:
