Hello,
I am a little bit confused about the kill number in the report at the end of a MP game. I think, that it may not show the correct number of kills. Or maybee it doesnt count enemy vehicles, that have already been hit by artillerie or other units, but were still in combat before I hit them? Or do you need other units to see your kills and to confirm them?
I am just wondering, because I had only one kill in the report in a game at this evening, but I am very sure that I destroyed more enemy vehicles.
Thank you. :D

maybe you were shooting at dead vehicles

No. Not in this case.
Edit: I did more often at my first MP games, but now I get sure to compare the situation with the Map status, pay attention to what the TC says, when I am in the gunner position and look, if the potential targets are moving and so on.

I dunno if this is the case but, sometimes in MP there is some lag, and ones computer is not updated as on position of the enemy tank. It records a shot, that actually is not happening for the host nor the other guy ( if he is not hte host). This kind of pseudo hits, show at the end like misses. The client pc is so convinced of it, that the ai tc also announces "target!"
Sorry if this is something that you already knew, and the situation you describe is different. I have seen many things due to lag in SB, but usually hits history are never wrong, in my expierience in MP

Thank you Hector, I didn't think about that case. But as I guess, the number of Hits/Misses would have to change then too?! (Means, when I hit a tank because of lag, but I don't hit it at the Hosts Computer, I also shouldn't get a Hit in the Hits/Misses value?)
This was not the case. The game run very stable and it showed in the end all 7 Hits, but only 1 destroyed. This is confusing me, because I know the situations, where I hit tanks and I think I should have 5 destroyed. (1 Hit was on a target to far away, I think and I shot one target twice to get sure.)
OK guys, I'll pay attention to this the next games and maybee I was just doing anything wrong ....

It does not always accurately count the amount of kills you have. I have been in many games and counted manually how many kills i had, then looked at aar and it showed less than what i really had.
i dont pay much attention to it anymore

I have also looked at AAR and thought no i know i killed more than that so likewise i don't pay attention to it

capturing the objective, and winning the game is far more important than kills, at least for me.
actually, i care more about how many enemy vehicles are left, than how many i've killed.

Yes, you're right dejawulf. But I personel am not experienced in controling troops (still learning in SP) and have only one tank up to one platoon in MP under my control. I try to stay alive, shot at enemy vehicles and try to help acomplishing the mission. So for me the destroyed number is a bit more important then for others, who control many units and try tactics. :)
And thank you for your answers EE and Renegade. This showed me, that I am not so wrong with my guess.

the other day we (bmp trekker and lonstar and me) were playing a scenario. Trekker and I did hit some M901s and brads several times, but the result was the same: the tc saying das selbe Ziel. Finally after some 5 hits each, the pcs finally were reported as kia in my map, it was due to Trekker's Rheinmetall. PzB, do you remember if el comandante said something like Cease fire or Feuer einstellen?. In some cases, if the target is more than 3500 meters away, he will keep saying it even before you start engaging, so one would not notice the difference, but it could be a good lead towards the definition of the situation. Anyways, the hit % is a very good indicative of skill, even when there is not so much of kills. you should not worry. also, kills of units under your command, specially those who are not human controlled is, i think, a really good indicative of skill, since tanking is not only cowboy gunning, but smart manouvering and terrain management, and i think that is what Deja wants to point to.
