Amongst the strange comments and statements, there are some interesting pictures, facts and general info on Russian tanks. Bit anti- American, perhaps not to everyones taste.
Not an invitation to flame.

Tried to look at the page link (above) a moment ago and got the infamous "Page not found" error. :casstet:

Hmm very interesting. He seems to have classified information on the armor protection of the m1. Some very interesting arguments buried among the igorance of russian and american posters in the T90 vs M1 thread. I think that soviet spetnaz guy needs to help with a playable t90 for SB3 :o

In the "M1A2 vs T90" thread:
M1A2 sights are more accurate...how are sights accurate??? Sights aren't accurate...they have high resolutions or long ranges but they don't have to do with accuracy. Thats all for the gun and firing systems. "Soviet Spetsnaz"
Maybe it's me, but I always thought of the sights as part of the weapon!?!?!?

That forum is about as one sided about the superiority of Russia's army as Ray from TankNet is about the US military. It's just not worth to engage a discussion with either of those reactionaries. The arguments I read there are silly, that 2000 T-90 tanks are better than a few hundred Leopards. Neither has Russia 2000 T-90s, nor would they attack Leopard user countries, nor would Leopard user states invade the bottomless swamps of Belorussia etc etc.

I even wonder why I waste my time with this rant about that irrelevant discussion. I'm ready to defend the Russian tank design anytime when it makes sense, but I'm tired of these childish "my toys are better than yours!" - "are not!" - "you bet they are!" - "are not!" - ... discussions

Glad that this site is a bit more balanced, but I doubt if Spetzsnas & co. would see it that way. Some of the comments are quite amusing! I like the one in the thread "Tank crew equipment" Some confusion over headgear and ERA tiles. Interesting to see things from the other side of the fence though, so to speak. Do we have any Russian members in this forum? Can we expect lots when SB2 is released with it's "crewable" T72?

Yes its interesting that he makes it sound like Russia still has unlimited money for developing and producing new tanks - from what I heard they don't have much money to maintain their existing equipment and pay their soldiers! I know for a fact that we have at least 3 or 4 people from Russia, not sure if they registered or not though.

My goodness, we don't have pop-ups! :casstet: The simple fact makes SB.com superior.

I'm spoiled. I forget sometimes how civilized we are here...thanks for the reminder.

That site's like being trapped in an elevator with the Soviet Tom Clancy. And several dozen of his favorite sycophants. Hopefully they never find this site, or they'll be telling us how the Fulda v3 scenario would only need three T-90s in it if they were modelled properly. ;)
