Battalion Defense (SP & MP Co-op)
-------------------------------------------------
"In a massive assault, the Red Force has breached your division's front line and is now trying to force a clean break into the division's soft belly, its logistical area. Your battalion has been in reserve and must move quickly to stop them."
Just uploaded my first posted scenario (it should show up under "SP - Moderate Planning" as soon as Sean reviews it). It's called "Battalion Defense" and is designed for SP or MP Co-op. Execution time runs about 45 minutes. More info is included in the briefing. I would appreciate any feedback so I can better understand what I did right/wrong as I don't have anyone but myself for play-testing.
This is a large scenario with two available versions. One comes with a plan for the Blue force and one without a Blue force plan. The Blue plan allows the player(s) to participate at whatever level they wish (a single tank, a platoon, a company team, or the entire battalion team) with the ability to either "ride along" using the prepared plan or to modify it as desired. The version without a Blue plan allows the player to start with a "blank slate" and see how they (and their plan) fare against the Red assault.
BLUE FORCE (Reinforced BN)
-- 4 Company Teams
.......... 2 Tank-heavy teams (each with 2 M1A1 Plts & 1 M2A2 Plt)
.......... 2 Mech-heavy teams (each with 1 M1A1 Plt & 2 M2A2 Plts)
-- 1 M901 ITV Plt (operating in 2-vehicle sections)
-- 2 Scout Plts (HMMWV operating in 2-vehicle sections)
-- CO & XO command team (each with 1 M1A1)
-- BN HQ section (under computer control)
.......... 4 HMMWV
.......... 2 M113 Plts
.......... 1 FISTV
.......... 1 M113 Ambulance
RED FORCE
"Target Rich Environment" (Just remember that the targets shoot back!)
-- 24 T80 Plts
-- 16 BMP2 Plts
-- Force CO & XO (1 BMP2 & 1 T80)
-- 8 BTR80 (Artillery liason)
-- 6 Scout Plts (3 BRDM2 & 3 BRDM2-AT)
