It could look something like that in the future. I am old enough to remember M1 Tank Platoon on the Amiga 500. :( 10 years ago you would never have dreamt of the sims available today or the equipment available to play them on, let alone being able to play on a LAN or the Internet against other people. Who knows?

Well, the provision of entire tank turret replicas will remain a costly thing and I can't see enough demand in the consumer market to warrant mass production of them. ;)
