Cyborg Problem

I just bought a Cyborg Evo joystick, that has a profiler. But it won't work. I'm running on Win 98, 600 mhz processor, 384 mb RAM. But in the profiler manual, it says a green circle should come up behind the joystick on the taskbar, I have a red one. And when I load a profile, none of the buttons work on the joystick, unless I have the trigger set up as trigger, rather than space bar. If anybody can help I'd appreciate it, and if you need more info let me know.

Gameport will NOT work with the profiler , and on top of this , Win98 ' s USB port management sucks big time .

Get Win XP .

Um... no. No XP for me. This old pile of parts, I call a computer, is not up to par to run XP. Not enough RAM, and not enough processor. Maybe if I get my new puter built pretty soon, I'll use XP. But until then problem solved anyhow, got a new joystick. Oh yeah, it was a USB jpystick.
