Which Medals Look Better

We recently changed the set of medals awarded in TGIF. We would like to ask your opinion, which one looks better. Choice 1 or Choice 2 ?

Hi, don't know I got that emblem or the name, weird, but I'm new here and the sight of the #1 medals is hard on the eyes, like cheap graphics. I guess I'll have to hang around and see the final outcome. I sure hope #2 wins, as that way I will come back and be active in SB and even give TGIF a go.

Hey Niki, I was thinking about the ARR, that you should have three slots for Medals.

Choice two looks real fake. I also have the majority of the medals on the wall right behind my computer so I was looking at the maedals on the wall against choice one and two. Choice one looks like the real think 99.9%.

The only medal I'd ever collect in MP is the Purple Heart - for dying horrible deaths in exploding, iron coffins from enemies I never saw - and the Purple Heart isn't listed.

Used to be one, if ya "dropped"..

But, don't rule yourself out, as I have seen many times during these last 6 TGIF battles, that those with the least experience, with the least kills, have made some of the most key kills, or held up an assult, buying others time to move units to that persons local for kills that change the course of the battle in our favor..

I'd have to say choice 1 with 3D does look much better, so if we use that one instead of the original choice 1, id say choice 1 gets my vote, otherwise choice 2 is my pick

i believe most of us voted for a 3d medal. i havent been able to make a 3D effect on the 1st choice since i didnt have the software.. Golf33 have provided me with the "raw" gif's.. since choice 1 is the realistic color, we will use it with 3D effect.

Any objections ?

3D is good if the color turns out like choice one. If it looks like choice two though that choice does not look like the real medals.

UPDATE:

Well, the fate of war turned against us in last nights final April TGIF battle, and we lost the coin toss for tanks, and as I expected, Stumpy's team took the Leos as I expected, being that I studied the map earlier in the week and knew that Leo had a distint advantage.. and planned the complete battle for the Red/Leo side.. So, in the M1's we planned our battle from scratch and took to Battle.

However, with a great team, Lonestar's Raiders successfully beat Scud's Duds, for the final Victory and brought home the total Victory.. lol

Thus we ended the series 7 wins.. 0 loses and the bar has been set, and I'm still awarding each CO and his TC's your pictured award..

I' m one proud and happy Commander/LSR
