We can now see who's online. This suggests that we should also place a link to the chat room somewhere near that list of present users, and an invitation button for the chat. This might help to reduce the problem that people just jump into a chat channel and out of it "because nobody is there"

Or if there was a way to put an icon near your name when you log on that shows that you are availible for a game. That way you could PM them to meet in chat.

The sorting button is close to useless - since the board does not store the settings, you have to load the page twice if you want it the old way. And you can only jump to the last posting in the most recent thread, to the new postings since last visit in every thread. I ask is be fixed, if possible.
It's no really urgent thing, but still it'd be a noticeable gain in convenience. :)

Chat:

I am working on a IRC chat for this site. The module is written for russian and there is errors in the english lang files. Got it to load finally but config settings won't stick. Waiting to see what permissions I need to change to get it to work. Guess I'll link to the old one for now.

Sorting:

As noted at the bottom of every forum page, this forum is not my work. If you have suggestions, it would be a good idea to drop by trollix's english forums and post them in the wish list. If I knew how to change the code to make it work the way you want, I would. But I don't. If there are any php programmers out there that want to attempt it, drop me a email at sean@steelbeasts.com.

Another option is to convice wimpy @ http://www.flexion.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=forumdisplay&fid=1 to have a look at implementing your suggestions. You can see the work he has done on the forums there. He has a mod pack out which I have been afraid to try.
