TX.. I started in late 99 with SB1 1.15version.. played in SP till summer of 2000, when I bought SB Gold edition.. I sometime soon, after my German Shepherds early death from cancer, came to the SB forums and in late 2000, came to chat and was taught MP by Hackworth.. I have forgotten alot, but played alot every day, every night for years as a means of forgetting my loss of the orginal Battledog.. always 2 or 3 games in the morning each day with Joe from Germany and OB from Finland.. Then in the evenings late into the night.. usually ending around 1 or 2am with the likes of Hackworth, GsMcAmis, Poker, Caveman, Boof, Archangel, Sean, Kam60, Lonny007, Cush, Hell Hound, Hector, Juan, and a few more I 'm sure, but as I said, my memory leaves alittle out.. But I played like this up until early 2004, and now I am slowing down, as I get tired with my business growing and taking up more of my mental output daily, leaving me less energized of late to play every night and day like I used to..

But in short, 1999 - 2004, and I am still learning and growing, along with meeting great new friends in the SB community..

Hope to see ya soon in MP when your brother gets his router problem fixed..

I started with the demo sometime in late 2000? I got the full version for Christmas of 2001. I played SP until the summer, then I came online back when the chatroom was setup at www.tanksim.com. I played quite a bit that summer. I remember my first game was Domfessel. It was hosted by Phillip. Sean, Diceman, AA, GO, and Poker were also there (Tough crowd :lol: )

At the time I was also playing Rogue Spear alot online, and took over as the leader of a clan at the end of the summer, so I didn't spend much time with SB.

Sometime around early 2002 Starfox joined my RS clan, and I found out he was playing SB also. We teamed up, and had loads of fun playing FMT in many MP games. (Something I never really enjoyed again until Stumpy came along :wink:) Starfox was also very handy with troops if I recall.

We played alot that summer, but he started to get really frusterated with the AI getting his tanks killed, and left the game towards the end of the summer. Since he was the only person I really played with, I left also.

Then, in the summer of 2003, I started getting interesting in SB again, and was curious to see how it was coming along (I had lurked the forums sporadically in the past). I joined the forum (finally), and started playing actively again.

I played very actively (I am most likely to be on Friday, and Saturday nights sometime after 8 EST) until the late spring of 2004. I got a bit too busy to be playing so actively.

I plan to get back actively playing sometime later this summer.

I bought this game in 99, and played it a lot for like 3 months on SP, but could never figure out why my heat rounds were always falling way short of the target when i fired heat so I stopped playing it thinking there was something wrong with the game. Then I reloaded it again months later and still had same problem but continued on playing sp for the next 3 years. Then in May of 2003, I went into the chat room for the very first time and Mapman talked me into joining a MP game online and i been playing MP since then. two weeks after that is when i figured out why the heat rounds were alway falling short (and no, I never read the manuals that come with the games i play) Since then I formed 2nd Dragoons and still play sp maybe twice a week and MP whenever I can when time permits

I have had SB for about a year now. Played mostly SP games. Found out the site and a few months later joined. Started playing MP about 2-3 months ago. Play MP about 2-3 times a week and play SP as much as I can. And all that with out the manual!
