TH, I've been meaning to ask you, who have you "downloaded sce's" from (host wise) in the recent past, when this problem became evident..?

I'm trying to put a handle on some thoughts I have had in regards to this and other host with known, un-fixed virus's, etc..

If you can recall, or give it your best guess and let me know, would appreciate it..

Hoping to increase the awareness of contraception and stem the spread of sexually transmitted disease, the Swedish Organization for Sexual Education, or RFSU, said Thursday it plans to deliver condoms by car in a hurry.

Using the name Cho-San Express, the organization will have four cars loaded with condoms patrolling the streets of the capital, Stockholm, along with a pair of vehicles each in Goteborg and Malmoe, Sweden's second and third-biggest cities.

For people in the mood but without any contraception, they can call the express and have a 10-pack of condoms delivered for about $6.66. Ten-packs sell for $6.93 at a state-owned pharmacy.

"With this campaign, we believe that the RFSU will reach young people with a humorous twinkle in their eye," said spokesman Carl Osvald. "It's our hope that the contraceptive will be perceived as a fun sex accessory and not just as a way to protect against infectious, sexually transmitted diseases."

The group is staging the campaign because of an increase of venereal diseases among young Swedes. Osvald said the number of Swedes who contracted chlamydia in 2003 were 26,802, a 9 percent increase over 2002. The biggest increase was in Stockholm.

About 17 million condoms were sold in Sweden last year.

TH, not necessarly, as MM didn't have any problem, so my thought is leaning towards, like that Miss India site you listed (for one).. when I went there, I got an immediate "spybot" warning and blockage of a download that site tried to dump into my PC..

What may have happened is, you got this bug from another site, and it took the time from then to game time to go into effect.. I am guessing here, but was it a pop up issue during the game.. or what happened specifically to alert you to your problem?

Spybot stops sites from downloading trojans and stuff that send information to all the sales marketing turds, that cause you to have pop ups..

And, I run my Norton during gaming all the time, but have the automatic online update feature turned off for gaming.. thus no problems while in game, with Norton downloading a new virus code

Well the only prob that I have is with the AOL, I dont know what the cause is but the AOL has been acting kinda funky. In other words the comp freezes if I try to go to a site on AOL or if I use the AOL radio.

Well then I would have to find a provider that has MBs and a large Desi population. AOL sucks but it is a great place to find Desi women. Or at least with me that is the case 8) I was thinking that a trojan might have taken a piece outa AOL. And that might be why it is so fudged up lately. :evil:

my virus scanner runs all the time.. and is updated every day..all my Ip's start with 216.XXX.XXX.XXX

But a lot of virus's like to climbe into a zip file .. Don't know of one yet that will get into a .sce file .. Unless you zip it up .. :)

I can assure you that any virus you or anyone may have gotten was not from me. I am constantly scaning my puter for virus's and scan each file I download for virus's before i even put them in their final destination file. No way I could get one as I am very meticulous about it. Some may say im very anal about it. (I'm known for yelling at my mom when she downloads a file on her puter and doesnt scan it for virus's and at my dad for not updating his virus definitions) And yes, my definitions are up to date. I do do a lot of surfing, but do not go into porn sites. The one virus I did get (not on this puter) I got from a porn site so I avoid those like the plague now.

Ren - no need to defend yourself - as soon as it was posted I doubted that it could be you - else why wouldn't all the other players have received/defended it ? No mention made from any of the other players - therefore the likelihood of it being you was remote.
Most viruses are passed via e-mail, that is much more likely to be the culprit.
