HELP

A few weeks back my computer went funny due to a pop up program run amoke.

I got most everything back to normal with the exception of TS.

Now, I can not run TS and SB without getting the dreaded...Can not find direct sound object...or something like that...warning.

In otherwords, if I want to use TS, I will have no sound in SB.

In addition, now, if I have a live mic, I get BAD feedback all the time (ever increasing volumn of echos until I lose my sanity). So I have to use the key mic funtion now, where I did not have to before. I could just adjust the senstivity.

I have exhausted what I know trying to figure this out and would appreciate any and all suggestions.

As a suggestion try uninstalling all the sound drivers for your sound card or onboard sound, then install the latest drivers and finally reset all the items that use the sound drivers. SB will automatically find the correct sound system, but TS will need to be setup to use the "direct sound" option and select your sound card drivers and not the "primary sound drivers" from the bottom selection area.

Advise if that works, as there are more option avail.
