Should I even wait?

Should I even bother to wait for SB2, or just jump all over Pro PE when it comes out? I was looking at the comparison chart on the eSim website, and I want advanced map graphics and obsyacle breaching, dammit!

What's the point of even waiting? SB2 is only gonna be a little bit cheaper, right?

yeah, a little cheaper, and developed towards the sim lite crowd of BF42 and such.
hence the requirement of competitive graphics.
and graphics always takes damn long to get good.

If SB2 does indeed take until well into 2005 for release, the wait may be intolerable.

I offer (yet again) my formula for worth: I have been playing SB since 12/03. Even at full retail (I purchased a copy on eBay) of $50 (and I believe it was less than that) I would be paying less than $5 for each month of enjoyment. Many have been playing even longer!

If SB ProPE lasts me only a year (and I predict it will last MUCH longer than that!) then it's still only $10.41 per month for the best game on my hard drive.

Many new retail games ship for $50 and don't last half that long.

$125 is a steal. EQ players are getting screwed! ($50 per year for upgrades/expansions + $120 per year for Sony subscriptions)

For me, it's a no-brainer. :D

But I will buy SB2 when it comes out in the future
