my questions still haven't been answered yet and a moderator has closed the thread! why is there now a limit suddenly, how many people wanted it compared to those who didn't? is chaplin's vague and odd answer 'because people shouldn't suggest changing stuff unless they mean it (reffering to the suggestion about the 100 min limit)? and why when a moderator checked the thread he ignored the posts thread as well!
i say ban all those who continued after they were warned or what use is it to threaten, lets take a vote on this 100 minute thing or can i get a straight answer as to why it now exists because the ones who are credited with "starting it" say they didn't .

Well Horus, we tried with post 1, but to no avail..
Can you put up a "poll".. ?
Entend or leave edit limits?
Extend edit: leave as is, or, 24hrs, 48hrs, 3 days.. 1 week

I think you guys should beware false idols. :-)
The 100 minute limit came as a "feature" of the software update, I can adjust it as necessary. I'm suprised that its such a big deal, in fact certain people have asked for it in the past. I don't have much of an opinion one way or another, i'll change it to whatever the poll comes up with.

Well, changing the time would be ok if somebody could simply get the EDIT, QUOTE, DELETE, and UP arrow buttons to show up more than ocassionaly. For the last three days they have disapeared for some reason. I did see a quote button earlied today, but when I checked the same topic later, the Quote button was gone again and I haven't see it since. It's doesn't make a difference which theme or browser I use. No other forum at other web sights does this.

Like now, just after I posted the above comment, I can't edit it because the edit button didn't show up. The X button is there this time tho.
Did you clear out your saved internet files(cache)? Its not working on IE6 and netscape 7? Can you take a screenshot and email it to me?
Thanks.

I've discovered a workaround for Netscape. If I want to see the EDIT, DELETE, and QUOTE buttons, I change the size of the fonts and they magically appear. That only works in that topic. If I open another topic, I change the font back to original size and they appear again. Strange!
Internet Explorer seems to work fine now, but I hate to use it because of all the security holes in it.
