Hey folks:
I've been pretty busy over the last six months, but now that I've settled into my new digs on the other side of the Atlantic, I'm looking to reenter the world of SB. Since I'm stuck behind an all-encompassing university firewall, I won't be able to do any MP. BUT, I would like to get back into map/mission design.
SO, with that in mind I present you with my map and scenario archive, located at
http://www.unc.edu/~grparker/sb/
Since my web skills suck, it's basically an index listing of some of my terrain maps and missions. The .txt file in the Maps index should tell you everything you need to know about the maps, which include:
-Normandy: a (mostly) accurate representation of the area around Omaha Beach in northern France
-Ardennes: another historical map based on the area around Bastogne
-Generic maps simulating everything from mountainous deserts to thick jungles to populated farmlands
-And much more!!! Also, the Scenarios section contains my old Chechnya missions, as well as the original Hummer Jump!!! :( (Ok, so maybe that one should've been left out, but oh well.)
Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some new ideas soon. I'm trying to figure out new ways to depict stuff (baseball diamonds, construction sites, docks, etc.), and all this Scottish terrain has got me thinking about castles, too...
Cheers,
rat
