A tip for anyone with same problem - SB freezing up the comp

Yep, my porblem is solved, my computer doesnt freez up anymore... I have been trying out with different drivers and settings and so on... But then WB tipped me that I should uninstall Service Pack2... (hes been tolled that SP2 have troubbel with graphic stuff)
I have been thinking about it before but didnt want to, but now when he tipped med i decided to try it, so i uninstalled SP2... and now SB works!!! :twisted:

Havent been playing for 2 months or so no!! but guys im back!!!! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Anyway, for any other dude that have this problem with Computer freezing after a few minuts ingame try to unintsall SP2 and try if that works

Microcrap SP2 is the worst piece of worthless crap on the face of the earth. At times I think that Microsoft is a government organization, just based on how adept that they are at screwing up with everything that they do. Even a patch from these people ends up screwing things up even more.

well, I run XP with SP2 and at least the single play works fine here, never tryed the mp game since the time differences and that i cant use voice in my livingroom.

When my friend built my PC with WXP Pro, he said he read that Gaming ran faster with SP2.. The problem as I re-call, he said with either sp1 or sp2, was installing over exsisting WXP.. it had problems this way.. he said, with a fresh install of WXP Pro, with SP2, no problems.. as read below:

Now, still using my old PC for MP, and having not yet used my new PC for any online MP, this may be a problem with online MP, and not a problem with Single Play.. I will soon find out.

Well, after SP2 was installed I had it in BOTH! (MP and SP) i couldnt ewen to the gunnery range finished before the comp frozed.... (bugger) but now it works fine :D

Yeah, Microsoft needs to be killed. A computer consultant friend of mine (owns a company that does some government work) said to just never download anything from Microsoft since they suck. Funny story, I was uninstalling SP2 and my comp froze, so I had to restart, except the flippin computer wouldn't boot Windows. Yeah, I had to reformat, losing EVERYTHING!!! I was, and still am (this was 2 nights ago) PISSED!!!

That sucks... I had to reformat my HD for 3 month ago or so when Windows refused to work as it should.. it sucks to lose ewerything U got...

Hey, you ever heard somthing from saving your data recently?????? :) There are CD-RW´s or even DVD-RW´s and / or spare HDD´s to use and you will not have any Probs reinstalling your system. And you can use for example Norton Ghost to make a image of your system. In this case it will take about 30 min to get it running and about 2 hours to have it the way you want it. Without loosing all your data.

I have, for example, an image of my system inclusive Office, all my "main" games, browser, mail and so on. And additionaly to that I have my mailstuff/downloads/savegames..... and..... saved on a different HDD (CDRW´s working fine, too) Helps you alot if you have any problems with your HDD
