Stepping Down

Viper-3 will no longer be a moderator of this community. It is a position one can feel proud to belong to, and has assisted this community to reach the level it has today.

Recent events have raised doubts from several sources that my ability to perform those duties in a manner reflective of professionalism and fair play is questionable. I have nothing but respect for this community and those who virtually live within it. I encourage all members to apply for the position and/or find some other way to contribute to the community. Thanks for your devotion to such a fine sim, and may we continue to have a home away from home.

I have absolutely no doubt in your sense of judgement. Anybody can make a mistake at times. If we could not tolerate mistakes, we'd be giving up the major advantage that we have over machines and computers: Fault tolerance, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

You've been a damned good moderator, and I'm convinced that you could continue to be one in the future as well. It's times like these where moderators are needed. This community needs you as a mod. I need your help. If it were not for you and the other moderators, I couldn't free the time that I need to run shop. Please stay.

Ssnake is right. Viper should not step down.My petty feud with LS should not Cost the community his services. I'm sorry he got caught in the bullshit between me and LS. How many moderators have stepped down or quit because of this nonsense?4? 5? at least.I'm gonna have my fights In game from here on.Viper, the Community would be well served if you reconsider your stance.
