I've read thus stuff in like Tank Encyclopedias a hundred times, but my bad memory serves to see that I have forgotten.

WHat are the armour specs for frontal, side, and rear for both the LEO and M1A1. I know the M1A1 is the heavier/slower tank, which is kind of funny since its in contrast to how things were done in WW2.

the reality is that the US tank is still the less armored tank of the two. issues such as the large turret ring, thin top-hull, and a thinner front turret (though using DU) mean the M1 is still in the spirit of the M4 Sherman and Patton tank designs. the Iraqi RPG7 is still effective vs M60a3 and M1a2SEP. German engineers need not doubt their efficiency.

And to be perfectly honest , the Abrams is not a slow tank . As long as you feed the Turbine it will still accelerate until the tracks (Twacks for some :wink: ) give up .

from what i know, the M1A1 in SB is actually an M1A1(HA) an armour upgraded M1A1, with around 10-20% thicker front turret and hull armour.
