Hey guys...
I don't know if this would be helpful or not, but it seems like a great piece of software for topography and scenery development.

Decent program to play around with but a bit slow
Google maps has a satellite view that is close to the same as Worldwind,
and is a bit faster .
But Worldwind has a vast wealth of information.

Changing gears a little bit.. Have any of you on the development team seen/used the TrackIR from www.naturalpoint.com ? Would the next SB release profit from using something like this?

I use the TrackIR for MS Flight Sim 2004. I have also experimented with it in first-person-shooter games. It is a wonderful addition for the flight sim but it really doesn't help any with the FPS (it cannot be used with SB at this point).
The reason is simple - in a flight sim (or driving sim) your butt never moves. You can turn your head to look behind you, but you cannot turn 360. That is how the TrackIT works - you can look behind you to the left and right, but you cannot look past 180. When the bogey goes past your tail, you have to snap your head in the other direction, just like in a real pilot's seat. In an FPS, or in SB TC unbuttoned mode/Exterior view, you regularly spin around 360. That is pretty much impossible to do with the TrackIR. And, of course, the TrackIT has no use when looking through a gunsight.
