I'm running SB1 on my new high end computer (Windows xp) that I bought Nov 2004 in anticipation of the (at that time) soon to be released SB Pro PE. (Actually I appreciate the fact that, if it weren't for esim's military customers, SB Pro PE or SB2 might not even be possible.)

Anyway, when running SB1, I often listen to talk radio over the internet at the same time. SB1 completely drowns out the radio. Is there a way to lower the volume on SB1 without also lowering the volume on the internet radio? I've gone into the volume control panel and I can't find a way to do it. Thanks

Greetings,

Ref the volume changing of two different feeds.

You will have to allocate the type of stream or feed from each program to different players. If SB1 is using "wav" format and the standard windows media player is assigned or associated to play those types of feeds ok, so far. The voice radio will have to be accociated to a different player, (ie:quicktime/irfanview/realplayer...) whatever. Two players can operate at the same time as long as they use different formats, say one WAV and the other MIDI/ MPEG-4.

Start there and you will have to set the output volume's for each player.

As of yet, SB still has no separate volume controls, I'm sorry. You'll have to resort to workarounds like 9er described.
