Hey ladies and gentlemen,

I appologize thouroughly if this question has already been asked, and I'm sure it has been almost as good as word for word.

I wanted to know how the multiplayer situation is going to look for SB2 and SB Pro PE. I personally plan on investing on the Pro PE, but was wondering... will SB2 players be able to game with Pro PE players and vice versa? Will Pro PE hosts/players just have to limit to SB2 features? How is it going to work?

For me the ultimate most important thing is multiplayer. (Althought I know the single player will be keep me up when I should be sleeping too). As such, I want to make sure I get a version where there will be the maximum people looking for games on here. As much as I WANT Pro PE, if 70% of the clientel is going to buy SB2 and the two games aren't MP compatable, then I'm going to have to force myself to buy SB2 instead.

HENSE my question.

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can afford me,
Ludwig.

No. Theres too many differences between the two to have any hope of them being compatible. Whos going to play what wont be a problem until sb2 comes out, which wont happen until at least a year after pro pe does. (According to the last published statements by esim)

Really? The dumbed down version comes out later? Interesting... but awesome as well. Everyone will be forced to by Pro PE by default because they are all too weak to wait an entire year (as am I), and I will destroy them all online... MWUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Esims is playing well into my thirst for MP destruction.

JA WOHL!!!

I don't like this talk about SB2 being "dumbed down". That's most definitely not what we have in mind. SB2's design principle will emphasize entertainment qualities and accessibility over realism only and exactly then, where a conflict between what makes a good game and what makes a good simulation cannot be resolved in good compromise.

Alright well in that case pardon me. I guess I misunderstood the idea between the variation of "elements" used in both games. As far as the chart goes, SB Pro PE has everything SB2 does and more, so I figured it was simply dumbed down. That not being the case (according to you), I retract my comment.

Well, the charts don't list planned features, and there are quite some for SB2. ;)

Aha! Now it's all starting to make sense. Looks like I'll be buying both as well.
