I have put up a few of what i thought were some of the more worthwhile posts that have appeared as topic and discussion starters in the 2nd Dragoons message boards that I started.

Somme of these are old, and some ideas on gameplay have evolved since i put them up, a year, or 2 years ago. among them , however can be found a common thread, a system, of how a particular VU fights, as evolved over time by trial and error. some may not play this way, and in fact some play can exploit this system and it's tendencies, but it seems to work fairly well for us.

I would like to see some ideas about how other teams/indivuiduals fight, how they approach the game, how they asses it in planning stages, and what they think their strengths and weaknesses are.

I try and share what i know with others, and I hope others will share and allow the rest of us to be the benificiaries of their experience.

Not saying this is the way to do things, but this is what I see and how I look at the game.

Anyone who wants to start threads on how REAL life batles are fought and planned for, and who wants to point out the differneces between gameplay and real life, by all means, go right ahead.

Again, thanks for the new forum, to all those who were responsible for it.

I thought Shot was referring to real world tactics. I misunderstood, sorry. I think is understandable when players are not willing to unveil their tactics or playing skills.

I thought Shot was referring to real world tactics.

I was. I was also referring to how real-life tactics could be used in SB.

This is a really good idea.
Some of the things talked about I think I can use in my training with
the reserves.
