I plan to come back sometime :-). Hopefully after the summer when I'm done with school. Going back to school at 37 while working full time really sucks! Maybe SB2 will be out by then... then again :-). I still play single player now and then - I really do miss the MP games though. I just don't have the time right now.

No luck there GS, SB2 is likely to be out much later than summer of 2006. The summer of 2007 may be a more likely bet though. But SB Pro PE seems to be near release. :)

Havent scored a decent MP kill in ages (neither been killed), hopefully that will change as soon as PE is released ;).
BTW LS, the Ghost Town sce is patched to PE....

 Thank you AS..
You know what that means to me.. Ghost town (Imortal Classic Sce.) was where I died a thousand deaths, by the likes of Archangel, Lonny 007, Hackworth, GS, Caveman, et al., and learned everything SB1 had to offer for both tanks, Map pre-battle planning, artty and trigger use, and the key, AAR. It has been many-a-favorite sce for Vets to just keep their sharpness up vs another Vet (always dramatic and fun) and a place to "teach" upcoming players.
Again, you have my thanks and compliments on this classic Sce.
Hope to see many more by you in Pro..

Ghost town has a emotional value, thats where i got my ass handed to me when i first joined. LS and Nik sure taught me a thing or two.
I still lurk the forum and have Pro PE on pre-order. After doing some testing of the alpha versions and some scenario design work I had to give in to work and lack of time. Now I can't go back to SB1 :(
For those who don't know me, I started way back on the beta days, and played regularly untill a couple of years ago. V, GS, Kerplow, Arch, EB, 3Star, Poker, Dewman, Hector, Viper3, and the other old, OLD timers game me quite a few headaches.

I'm not in the Beta group but I used to play pretty regularly in 2000 and 2001. I remember all those names Juan mentioned. I drifted away from it due to real life issues but now I have ProPE on order and am looking forward to getting back into it. I used to be fairly active on the original board but I don't think I've ever done anything but lurk on this new one.

I never played online when the original came out, but I frequented the old board and remember a lot of those names. I'm definitely looking forward to MP this time around.

Thanks for thinking of me LS. Dare I say I remember when Juan first showed up here? I miss tanking with him and V-man and Biss, and Kerplow and geeze all of em! We had some serious fun. Maybe we can organize an "old guard" session from time to time and show each other just how rusty we've all gotten :)

Indeed TG, that would be some classic old SB Guard times.. And we can't forget another great-one from down south.. Hector (HQ, I think)
Both Juan and Hector showed me some of the finer ropes of this sim.

I'm still lurking about doing recce & staying in touch w/ some of the 1st Canadian. I'm hoping to pick up SBProPE shortly & get back into training w/ the Div. Outside of that life has been very busy w/ moving, work, youth soccer & under the knife........

I popped in the other day, but school is keeping me ridiculously busy, and will continue to do so (I hope) until 2008. So, at least for the moment, SB is an addiction I cannot afford to rekindle.
New vids and screens are amazing, though.

I know that none of you know who I am but I am the voice of the Tank Commander in the original SB. Something I am quite proud of.
I am checking in to see how things are going. Wow! Your community has grown!! When Al first started the project in '98 I never imagined that it would have gone this far! I can very easily see that SBs success rests with all of you. Quite a team effort from all over the world. Congratulations!
