Hi All
The current crop of vid's have been great ( particulary love the Leo one ). However, I would really like to have one showing in tank shots of an engagement, from the perspective of either the gunner's or TC's position ( or both would be even better ! ) taking out either a tank or APC.
If this could be done to tied us over to the new year would be much appreciated.
Cheers

The video I would like to see (unless I've missed it) is a TOW launched from a Bradley from two different views. One would be from the gunners sights and the other from above, from launch to impact!

How does one make the damned things? Is there any freeware that allows it?

Not sure, a lot of people seem to use FRAPS, but I'm sorry I havent a clue as to how to use it !
Any suggestions from those in the know ? 3Star, if you can oblige I'd love to see some of the Leo in action, like the first vid of it, but with action :hallucine:

Well, you need a fast computer with an even faster harddisk. Then run FRAPS in the background to record your game session(s). Later you need to cut the video material with an editing solution (e.g. Adobe Premiere, PowerDirector, Pinnacle Studio, or whatnot), and then render the whole stuff into a video of the desired size/quality setting.

There's also a utility that comes with XP, called (not surprisingly) Movie Maker.
The Fraps dowload takes no time, and taking film is as simple as pressing a predesignated hotkey.

I would also recommend on VirtualDub for video editing - free small and powerful.
