While staying in Malaysia (the home of pirated games!!) I came across a copy of Steel Beasts, this was the only store selling it, which is either a good thing or bad I suppose.
What caught my eye is that the T-80 on the front cover had mine rollers attached to it. When I bought and uploaded it (I already have two legal versions) it loaded version 1.

Was the t-80 with mine rollers part of the deco for the first release or something they added on?

By the way my 9 year old nephew there is pretty good on the tank range, using the Mk1 eyeball rather than lase and lead. I also taught him how to use the map editor to make his own scenario’s (he like making himself immune!) it took 20 minutes to figure how to use the editor functions. I can’t say enough times how well thought out your map and scenario editor is.

That would be cool a readme of how to explain the use of the map/scenario editors.Having it in the language of how to explain it to a 9 year old I could probably understand it....beeer....gooooood!!!About the cover,I dunno,I only have the demo myself of Sb1 and play the one mission, over, and over and over..!!!

one solution: ether buy the game or wait for SBpro (dunno if it has been released, i was away for a long long time! as far as i know, game is only on preorder...)
especially you can now find SB1 for no more that 5€/7$ in a store even if its rare...
