How do you make gif file dimensions smaller?

I want to change my avatar, but the dimensions are too big (155x133) the kb size is fine. How can I do this without it becoming a major annoyance?

Just open it up in paint and shrink it down. Use the cut tool and adjust the size by click n drag one of the corners.

I'd hate to be the last one who still uses a scull thoe ;)

I use an old Photoshop to shrink image size by proportion, but I think paint will do the job just fine as well...

Thanks guys. I tried it with paint, but its still not the right size. I have a copy of Photoshop or something similiar, I've never used it. I guess I will load it up and give it a try.
