SB Pro PE arrived at 1615 local time and wouldn’t you just know it, my damn dongle is missing!! I nearly freaked out. After all these years, my damn dongle is missing!! The manual and CD was there.
Upon examination of the box, it looks like it may have been opened for whatever reason. The flap appears to have been raised, because it was bent upward slightly and wasn't firmly glued down all the way.
What now? Oh well, at least I can read and memorize the manual while I try to figure out what to do. Can I order another one or what?
Topkick - dicked by my dongle in Texas. Crying!

Okay, I read and memorized the manual in the last hour. Now I'm ready to do whatever it takes to replace the missing dongle. I'm willing to pay for the dongle and all shipping charges via UPS next day air, please. That way there is no need to delay replacement or trying to figure out what happened. Who do I contact with credit card and shipping information. Can you use my orgional order reference number and add another charge to it? Whoever handles stuff like this PM or email me with info.
Damn, and I wanted to kill off all the Brads I could find tonight!

The Dongle is thin enough to fit in a CD Case??

No, it wasn't in the box or case or stuck between pages of the manual. I've emailed Nils and sent a CC to Esim. This is typical of my luck though. I think some SOB heard it rattling around in the box and opened it thinking it might be a bomb inside. :D Recgonizing a USB drive, he/she pocketed it.
I really don't hava clue. Sigh!
Its put in the dvd case, but the case tends to pop open during shipment.

The DVD case was taped closed. I had to cut the tape to open the case. I installed the program anway and explored the file setup, and know where all the files are located, listened to the music and watched a .jpg slide show.

Think of it this way: Some thief now tries to get this shiny new "USB memory stick" to work, and wonders why it doesn't show up as a new drive when he plugs it in... ;)

Oh, it will show up as a memory stick - except that it comes without memory.

I’d like to thank Sean, Nils, and AL for their help involving the missing dongle. This is what I call real Tech Support. With any luck I should be busting T-tanks, burning Leopards, roasting Brads and turning other crackerbox tanks and AFVs into crispy critters by this weekend. :D

For God's sake TK, do a clean sweep check of the floors, tear open the vacumm bag.. chk the dogs shit, chk the trash, whatever, turn the place upside down.
LS
PS chk the route to to mailbox, inside the mailbox, and retrace your steps back to the opening..
PSs. BD is in route, has hijacked a local airliner.. hang tight.. otw!!
 Seriously: when I opened my box, I too thought they forgot both dongles with 2 CD's inside box.. And while in Kitchen, when I cut the tape and poped the 1st CD open, I barely caught a glimpse of something going up past my left side, then heard something (the dongle-silver color) hit hard on the kitchen tile floor.. So if you where on carpet, near a chair or table, chk under and around them.. and shake down the cat if ya have one.. lol

Another day without a dongle. I’m beginning to think this is a conspiracy. The Russians will have SB up and running before I do.
What do I need to do to purchase a dongle from Esim or that WuBu outfit in Germany and pay them to send it UPS next day air. I offered to do this once . . . I'm serious.

I've calmed down now, Al. I'm sure the thing will be here before the before Sunday. With my luck, I'll end up with one that doesn't work. LOL! If that happens, I promise not to scream. No really.

We've had only a few cases of defective dongles, so the chances of you getting a bad one are pretty slim ;)

I'm all dongled up now! Oh the joy! WOW! Folks I dont care what anybody says, SB Pro is first rate. I've already burnt up one coax. And I also noticed the hull movement input into the ballistics solution someone reported earlier.
