..as I'm left without pro pe I have to make do with drooling over the screenshots.. and in this shot
http://home.comcast.net/~butler_j/sbppe/SS_00_08_01.jpg
..it seems to read 'STN Atlas Elektronik GmBH" while it should be 'GmbH' (their company site (http://www.atlas-elektronik.de/atlas/eindex.htm) agrees)

my reference disagrees with both you and the company site.

if you want to complain, complain that the screws doesn't have holes for
the screwdriver. although i doubt it will seriously detract from the gameplay value :P
as shocking as it may seem, there used to be nothing om that area, until i decided i needed to stop working on the T-72 interior and fix the things i simply had left empty in the texture.

Guess there's a misunderstanding.. I meant the the 'b' in 'GmbH' is uppercase (and wrong) in the screenshot, while the company site and your reference use a lowercase 'b' (as it should be imvho).

eSim should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a half-baked product.
I can't believe this error got by the QC team. What a bunch of slackers!

Received the game yesterday. No trouble installing. Works great!
Just to let you guys know: When one is in the commanders position of the FIST-V (at least in the tutorial) and one is unbuttoned and out of the hatch, the view cannot be changed (scanned) using the joystick, keyboard or hat switch. If you are in the vehicle in the lowest position the view can be changed but only with the joystick.
I don't think it is the fault of my system because I don't have this problem with any of the other vehicles. Can someone else confirm this?

Actually, this shows that in order to preserve the highest degree of sharpness for all text on the control panels - and given the severe limitations of texture space for it - we just don't slap photos together, but rather replicate the text with an extra text layer in Photoshop. In other words, this typo reveals the masterful attention to detail of Raino's work, about which he deserves nothing but the highest praise!

in addition, replicating the text and lines removes the perspective distortion that would result from grabbing photos, and the occasional flash from the blitz thats usually on when taking the pictures. simply scaling down the letters to "SB resolution" would render them completely unreadable.
