I was firing off a few TOW missles during th tutorial and I noticed that the sight did not become obscured during firing.
I cold have swore I saw in one of the SB Pro PE videos that the sight was obscured by smoke for a short time, but in the game it is not.
Anybody else notice this?

Are you sure you 're not closing your eyes for a second or two when firing ?
Cheers . :3starSK:

from what i can remember from being a M2 gunner during 91-92 u shouldnt have any obscurity during the firing/launching of the TOW due to the fact it is launched from the left side of the vehicle. It will however take a few seconds for it to come into view of the sight. Only obscurity i can thing of is the ballistic shield doors being shut on the day/night sights.
Now where the heck is the damn post man!

i've seen the same situation a few times too, but i think the absence of rocket exhaust only occured during the m2a2 tutorial.
another funky thing i encountered... when i fired a tow, the rocket fired, but it instantly detonated with a thunderous "bwwaaannnnggg~~". it almost sounded like the same sound was being overlapped. i let the gunner take over and watched the engagement from F8, and the rocket would leave the tube (what i mean is the tow launcher would show an open tube), the wierd sound would play, the launch smoke was produced, the atgm round count in the upper right corner would drop accordingly....but no missile downrange. never encountered it again though
and from what i can remember the real tows would white out my sight a little, but never totally obscure it.
