Hi,
Well..I'm getting ideas about getting a newer graphic card for better framerate while gunning...
Here's my issue-
`I understand the GeForce 6800 GT(GS) is as good as the 7800's. (and not to mention $100US cheaper)
`I don't have PCIExpress , so, I need an AGP
annnnnnndddddd-I can't seem to find one anywhere! I'm usually a local retail CPU shopper, so, I'm pretty clueless about reputable online dealers...And which card manufacturer is better, as well...
So! Should I just fork out the extra $100? Where can I find a good selection on cards online?
Any help is great..Thanks!

Did you try Googling this? I've never done it myself, but I'm given to understand that Googling the mere name of the card you seek is enough to bring forth demons of bargain and thrift.
Really, anyone running a sale on the card you're looking for is probably going to be doing it on-line and will likely have made finding their ad Google-friendly. Again, never done it myself but I'm told that it works nicely.

You might try TigerDirect.com:

Or Newegg.com or pricegrabber.com

Pricegrabber.com dont listen to ones that direct ya to one retailer...pricegrabber use them all and pick the cheapest price out of all the retailers. I've gotten some great deals by using it!

The only issue, or so I've heard, w/ price grabber is it directs you to lowest costs ... which is great, but is also subject to where they got the merchandise from.
great deals aren't so great when the manufacturer won't honor the warranty because you have a rather warm item. ;)
besides - TigerDirect or NewEgg are reputable and usually close enough priced.

True that Poker... I almost ordered something once that was a 2nd -hand item and not realizing till I did a touch-up research on it. But its pretty simple to avoid that situation if you look at it close enough.

Yeahhh Buddy!!!
I ordered it at Tigerdirect -They had what I needed, and I couldn't see any overtly negative things about it (PayPal option helps too)
Thanks for the heads-up!
Man...It's amazing how fast CPU Hardware runs through the 'product life cycle' these days....When I bought my last card, the 6600 wasn't even out yet...Now the 7800 looks like it's almost done....Amazing.
